So, as an almost solely solo player, I was finally able to two-person Prophecy today.
I know there are a lot of you who will be like, "LFG." Or, "Why'd it take so long?" or even, "You can solo it."
Well, you can sit this one out. I won't LFG because I don't want to play with randoms. I'll admit there are a lot of gamer opinions I don't want to deal with while trying to have fun. And I can't solo it because I'm not really that good. I spent most of my best reflex days playing games like Civ which don't require reflexes, and playing pinball machines like Black Knight.
Luckily, I have a kid who has friends and they played through it. Kid could tell me what to expect. So we did it together. Along with Ehroar's solo build for my Warlock. Kid is also my only Clanmate, in case you were wondering.
I died several times to the damn Phalanx Booping me off the island. Couldn't switch to sword a swing back fast enough. Not used to it, really. The only other times I died were times I forgot to eat my grenade to proc Devour. (I mean, goddam does Riskrunner work well in this dungeon.) And there was one wipe on the second boss phase that was kind of confusing for both of us, but was probably just a race condition. I thought I was about to get teleported back by the Echo, but they had a Hobgoblin kill me first and kid was probably too close to Echo. I mean, we died almost simultaneously.
It took three phases to get the Echo. Might have taken two, but I got stomped off the map by a bad move. Went to take out sniper Hob, but Echo moved to that platform. Echo threw teleport and only thing I could do was jump over it, but I landed on Echo's platform. STOMP. Ded.
Really good Dungeon when all is said and done. We tried it last week, and my Titan got a Judgement, and two Auto Rifles (Darkest? or Last Breath? It's my first time, be gentle.) Tried Sunshot, but the explosive rounds sometimes shifted the target and it took time to reacquire aim. And we just couldn't get the Echo done. I'll admit I almost gave up when we first tried. There were a lot of wipes at the Phalanx section. Boops, Burn, just plain Knights chasing us down and never missing. It was bad. Took a lot of being invisible. We finally got past this and just plain ran out of time in Real Life for the Boss section. We got screwed by 3 Light Mote banks with a mostly shadow room.
Used Warlock this time. Bottom Voidwalker. The switch from Sword to Linear Fusion was also a great tip from Ehroar. For other people, my Kid ran Hunter. Worked that Exotic from Legend Lost Sectors that gives grenades, made us invisible a lot. Then changed to Celestial Nighthawk for the Echo. Nova Bomb, Celestial Golden Gun and a lot of Linear Fusion with Particle Deconstruction. My Warlock proc'd Devour and dropped Rifts as much as possible. Truthfully, I should have dropped more Rifts, but I'm used to playing alone.
Took us 2:20:40~something. And Kid did the whole first section by themself as I wrapped up other bounties. I joined at the dang booping Phalanx and the really angry Knights. Fun. And I still need more weapons and armor from it, so I hope we'll do it again.

작성자: Bieltan 10/17/2021 9:03:25 AMSounds to me like you know the theory (sword swinging to save yourself from boop-death) its just a case of learning to react quickly. That will come with practise. Congrats on your first clear. First of many! ✌ EDIT: would also suggest a mix of Chaos Reach + Silence and Squall for that last boss. Make sure beamy boi has Focusing Lens on and hit the boss with both supers at the end. Huge damage 😉😁

Congrats. I will say though in case it helps you that you can do dungeon LFG without having to talk to or hear a soul. Most dungeon teams are no mic anyway. If you join on one and someone is using a mic, just give them a cheeky mute in game. Dungeons don't really require communication to complete.

5 답변Hey, I still haven't completed it or Presage, or corrupted.. I tried to do prophecy solo, it was a nightmare.. I tried to get my wife to run it with me, she died several times and left my group.. I have a large clan, but honestly am embarrassed to ask anyone for help with these maps/challenges.

1 답변
So, as an almost solely solo player, I was finally able to two-person Prophecy today.
This is the biggest bit of hypocrisy I've ever seen... You want to be solo, yet, play with others. Then, you can only duo the dungeon in over 2 hours, which is slow. Are you a solo player, or someone who plays with others and completes encounters with a team slowly?

Google a walkthrough so you have an idea of the dungeon then lfg no mic. Plenty of ppl run it without a mic. Just put on there its your first time so they know what there getting into. Plenty of ppl out there willing to help.

You know I was the same concerning lfg, and I was wrong. It’s all business, we are here to get loot and shoot stuff, everybody’s the same. Try it just one time, only activity you need worry about are raids and trials or GMs, where people will expect you to be good. Anything else people can usually carry you if need be. I loved playing with my boy too. Best gaming experience ever.

3 답변Congrats. Due to some setting / fault on my Xbox, people can't hear me when I talk. (Same issue with multiple mics) so I can't do raids or dungeons on LFG. I'd love to solo a dungeon but I'm not good enough yet. Must try again sometime.

Congratulations on getting it done!
I mean, goddam does Riskrunner work well in this dungeon.
My 87,000+ kill Riskrunner would wholeheartedly agree with you. 😎 Devour is pretty nice but when I run Void I prefer top tree with Contraverse Hold. You do you and if it works for you that's all that matters! 👍 You can do a ridiculously good Devour build. I simply prefer something different. Another option on the Arc side of things is bottom tree Storm with Getaway Artist. That Arc Soul can save a tail in some hot spots. Running it with a Pulse grenade also gives you the ability of dropping one on your own feet for a quick Riskrunner proc. The only issue with that in Prophecy is not throwing a beautiful purple ball at the boss during damage phase.
