Each season they give us some kind of seasonal mission and force us to complete it a billion times just to progress through the seasonal story, it's the same formula every season, and replaying these missions gets boring and mind-numbing really quickly, add on top of that the artifact XP system and the tedius bounty farming to raise your light level makes the game very stale and boring. And it's not that I don't like farming/grinding or anything, it's just that farming XP is the absolute most brain dead tedius -blam!- thing to do in this game holy -blam!-, I'll gladly farm raids for 30 light levels every season over grinding XP to raise my light level any -blam!- day.
Another thing I want to talk about is how Bungie sees weapons that are lacking in performance, they'll just issue an artifact mod that makes these weapons viable to use, but that's temporary, cause when the season ends, the seasonal mods go with it, and the weapons go back to being underpowered once more, like, why not just buff the weapons directly?!?
Furthermore, the champion system is very restricting and pointless, LET ME PLAY WITH WHATEVER I WANT GODDAMMIT, NO! I don't like changing my weapons every season, just remove champions from the game or rework them, heck, remove artifacts completely, that'll fix pretty much everything.

작성자: Odd Ball M4AE4 10/4/2021 2:05:21 AMI usually just grind for Triumphs for a few hours before going to bed when I get home from work, so I've got a fair amount of things to do still. Strikes could use some more love, though. Adding more modifiers is a good step in the right direction, but there's still some staleness to it. Get crazy with the modifiers like in D1, and set up encounters with more enemies to create crazier scenarios, will really enhance replayablity for Strikes. I remember in D1 how Strikes had huge waves of enemies that you could get real creative in dispatching, but not it feels like they barely sprinkle any in, so it gets boring real fast (Glassway has to be one of the most boring Strikes with next-to-no ads).

We still have like what? 4-5 months until next season? I highly recommend taking long breaks on this game. This season is probably the worse season we will have in years. The lack of content and this stale season is all leading up to the real expansion

1 답변No, play nearly everyday. Destiny is the greatest game of all time-that is my opinion and yes I know others will laugh but who cares.

i quit around january through september. i played a little cause i was bored. i mostly focus on pvp. Regardless, everything that bugged me before bugs me now. I still hate stasis. I still prefer my sunset guns. I still think it's time for ALL new maps. Still think iron banner needs a recaster thingy. I stuck to the free to play route but the trials update seems good. Too bad they didn't do it when it was free for me as i don't play trials much. Did i say i still hate stasis in pvp. A breeze followed me the other day and froze and killed me. I now know that's some sort of left over super effect but yeah i hate it. That and there's crystals blocking everything.

I actually created a new account so I could play the true New Light experience.. and it's really fun 🤔 I can't crutch Stasis or any of my exotics or crazy builds & it's made the game more fun. I can't masterwork anything at the drop of a hat, I'm currently stuck with blue weapons & armour AND I get to play the Forsaken campaign again.. It's a helluva good game for £0.00 I'll still use my proper hyper-grind account for weekly reset etc, but the new characters with nothing in the vault is pretty cool. Some banger blue guns (a scout, a shotty & SMG) have become very appreciated. I get the burn out tho. Jus step away for a week or two or jus do Tuesday & Wednesday for pinnacles etc then take the rest of the week off. Conversely, I've had enough Marvel stuff to do me til the end of the century.. they really ran that right into the ground.. did you see the What If? with Party Thor? 🤮

I agree the seasonal model is not good but the problem is it lets Bungie charge for new content every 3 months and it clearly works given the expansion work Bungie is undertaking at HQ. From a player point of view you're right, it delivers shallow content that has little replay value, but why would they change something that they make money from? What do they value more - money or player sentiment? It's an easy choice. I also agree on the champion concept. It's so restrictive. I was doing a nightfall the other week and it's one that I like (the one from D1, can't remember the name off the top of my head) and I kept thinking I'd be really enjoying this is if I wasn't forced to use a bow and an auto rifle just to get past these ariticifical barriers. Why is player agency such a feared thing at Bungie? I mean I get that if we used whatever we wanted in GMs it might make them less challenging, but it could be so easy to modify this in other ways. Add modifiers that make power weapons do X% less damage for example, or, if they want to promote certain weapon usage, add small buffs to the damage of those weapons or make them chain damage. The champion concept is a lazy way of making sure players stay within strict guidelines Bungie sets instead of them coming up with other ways to create a challenge. Will it change? Doubtful. By now the champion idea is hard baked into every season.

Absolutely. It has been the same crap for the past three seasons at least! Bungie has shown us just how lazy they were, although that laziness showed itself much earlier with repetitive gameplay, or reversing the path os a mission, thinking players wouldn’t notice. They cant balance classes and depending on the week, they try to manipulate the player into using a dumb weapon by buffing it because usage numbers were low. Its infantile game design! What it shows me is lack of leadership and lack of creativity with people more focussed on a skin than actually fixing inherent problems that plague gameplay. Ive taken a break and find myself less frustrated. PVP would send me over the edge. I certainly am not intending on purchasing the next season knowing that its all going to be all the same old crap! I just wish some real designers (other than the artists who should be applauded) fix something that brought people together. I dont miss it but here i am still hoping. :)

It’s definitely on easy street. Witch Queen will spice it up but I think this is just the game currently. They need to add truly prestigious cosmetics and achievements if they are going to go this route but they simply won’t.

작성자: Skill Privilege 10/4/2021 12:43:37 AMYeah, I'm getting burned out. I love the movement, art, the gunplay, and sound design. However, almost everything is a boring repetitive grind ruined by RNG mechanics. I don't even want to raid anymore because it's a waste of time with no set finish line. Meanwhile, PvP is being overrun by players who got lucky with Vex. It's not pay-to-win, it's RNG to win, which is equally as bad. https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2/db/insights Vex is almost 5% of all Quickplay kills and 6% of all Trials kills. There's still a ton of players who don't have it, (2% adjusted Global rarity) which just demonstrates how OP the weapon is. https://warmind.io/analytics/item/fusion-rifles I don't understand how a company would even imagine it's remotely OK for players to complete >50 raids, still not have the raid weapon, and yet have to compete against it in Trials and Iron Banner. It's not ok. Maybe weapon crafting will begin to solve the RNG issues but this year has been pretty rough with EoT and Vex drop rates.

Bungie's mechanics unfortunately suffers from repetitiveness & forced gameplay style. The needless grind is a sorry excuse for replay value and while crossplay can enhance the general experience in PvE, for PvP it's a flagrant failure. I'm glad I didn't preorder the Witch Queen. I'll be enjoying Halo Infinite and the superior PvP quality connection that will be come with it.
