Hit one of those too .4% players last night for 2 games. I was the top player on my team and every time they killed me I would get emoted on, bagged or ghost shot repeatedly. No idea why. No one else got that treatment. I’m not even in the same league as them but they felt they needed to flex? Maybe it was because I was the only one killing them? Who knows why? But for 2 games that’s all that player would do. Pure toxic trash imo. They’re the type of player that makes me want SBMM back so I never see them again. And I’ve been seeing a few recently.

Every game has several top 5%ers. That's what happens when the average player stops playing. Everyone left is a tryhard, and if you're just in there for pinnacles or(heaven forbid) to try to have fun then too bad.

supposedly I'm a top 5%, but man, these guys are on a different level compared to someone like me who somehow in in the top 5% who's been playing videogames since '83. I'm overgeneralizing but I figure I'm going against people who are 1/4 to 1/2 my age XD. Its crazy to see how I used to be but man, I wasn't toxic like that and for those like me that just wanna have fun, man, that's not it going against them. I see how they hate going against each other too XD. Last night was the worse for toxic reactions and hate mail I've had in all of D2 and D1. *shrug* Don't know what's brining the worse out of people right now, got a few ideas, but man, games are meant for an escape and having fun imo.

It's cuz they have 1 of the multiple websites up that show team stats. This way they know how to approach the incoming fight. They see you being the only "competition", as in, you are prolly the only one even trying to "compete" with them. Of course, based on some of your recent posts, all the kids gotta tell [b]you[/b] is to "git gud old man". I mean that's what you have been advocating for recently. So this is an odd thing to read from you.

I mean I am a lot better then awhile ago, but man, I’ll never get back up to those levels. As much as I can anticipate plays, moves and how people will react, there all always better people. I’m all saying there needs to be a form of SBMM back in the game especially with the huge pool crossplay gives us. When my peak is now an aged cagey veteran and I’m going against a Lionel Messi, only so much I can do versus the reaction times. I can outfox them a lot and outplay them, counter their abilities but in the end their reaction time will eventually beat me, especially when they’re always the 3rd or 4th person in the fight. I knew what they were doing, but hard to avoid it when they are using every teammate as bait and picking off the scraps. When I got them on their own, it did fairy well for the skill gap. Why I also think there should be ranks if no SBMM. That way amateurs don’t face allstars. Ranks can show you how you are improving or not when you see your moving up or down. I wanna play people in a range around my skill so I can test my meddle instead of feeding off the minnows while avoiding the other shark in the match. Although I don’t mind facing a better shark when they’re not a toxic shark.

The system/algorithm is creating these matches. It is definitely at fault. Anyways. I'm an older gamer. These kids are on a multitude of different things. Adderall being a particular one to help with focus. I don't expect, nor want to keep up with some of these people. I play for 1 reason only. Entertainment. I don't wanna play versus the same people you don't. But check my stats and people are saying I'm one of those people who wish to farm bad kids. Fact is, I play with a ridiculously diverse fireteam on a consistent basis. SBMM tells me I can't do that anymore. That's fine I guess. Your entertainment is more important than mine. I'll be okay, as an older gamer, it's not that big of deal to me. It is about the kids after all....right? I don't give a damn if someone bags me... I think it's more childish to get upset over a bag....but hey you feel the opposite. That's literally a non issue to me if we disagree either, but others seems to take issue with it. So with all that said... Kids hate it when they find out I'm a 40 yr old Dad non Meta using, double primary using, punching... TITAN. I'm obviously an average to above average gamer, but not anywhere consistent enough, or use the META to be considered a sweat, or a tryhard. The entire system is flawed, as nothing is perfect anyways. As it stands we can only work with what we got and this is what we got. Regardless, I'm extremely happy you didn't take offense to my post and as always, I thank you for the discussion. I know it doesn't mean all that much, but I do appreciate our interactions on this forum.

Trust me I deal with those clowns too. Even if you are testing out builds in the Crucible and somehow fragging out, they will chase you to the ends of the earth to showcase how skilled they supposedly is. The amount of times I have been T-bagged or excessively chased and teamshot for outgunning or outperforming someone with the META with my off META loadouts is mind baffling. It is saddening how the community is extremely toxic and for no reason other than they think they are better because they ran a stack team with META, shotguns and teamshooting. The elitist playerbase has always been the cancer in any video game. Having cheesiness in this game doesnt help either because it creates the worst type of egos.

My loadout that got me the hate last night was DMT and Main Ingredient. *shrug* There were 2 lanes to the zone B on the map and I held off the whole other team on one zone with DMT (never hip fired it, always ADS with it), while the other 5 kept the other lane locked down. I was all like, why do you guys keep running down the middle trying to challenge me, If i had a sniper on, I would be getting so many Mission Control medals for how far away I was picking them off from. I'm not the best, but even I knew there were 2 routes to flank and counter me on that lane and they never took it. So eventually one titan used their missile super to take me out and bag, while other rans up to do the same. This continued the whole match as I fragged out because I got them so tilted from holding that lane down from miles away, preventing them from grabbing the zone and flanking my teammates on the other lane.

You should consider it a compliment honestly. It means you have trigger their little brains into hate. In my eyes, anyone who proceeds to bag players while using a better loadout isnt usually good in theory. Most of them are usually carrying each other by teamshooting, META abusing, rushing together and ability/super spamming for stats. Dont beat yourself up over some wannabe “cant” make in a real esports league players. There is a reason they arent in a league and playing Destiny as a wannabe one.

I never bag unless im doing a friendly bag to a teammate or titan in a bubble or barricade. Sometimes i bag my friends when they get bodied by someone in pvp or get literally clowned on by a red bar dreg.
