I am Blakkperson, thats all i want to be.
I didnt make this gamer tag to offend anyone i made this gamertag to be who I am.. A black man, a black gamer, a black guardian but that doesnt seem to matter to bungie. I can be black dragon or black ranger or black dread but, if i want to be blakkperson its a problem? When people literally have whole clan names dedicated to people -blam!- really like little kids and they go untouched. I've spent 3000 hours in this game i buy the dlc on multiple platforms just to play and enjoy destiny with my friends but, to sign on today and see my name changed to Guardian2946 I simply cannot accept it. You already got all my time you already got 2 pre-orders for which queen out of me. You already got 30 for a black lives matter emblem when they obviously dont because i cant even be myself without bothering somebody. This is just like the google employee who was harassed for being black on the google campus and not believed when he told security he worked there. This is just like when the black man is sitting at his pool in his complex where he pays rent and a cop tries to arrest him for just being black in the wrong place. You guys a punishing me for proudly displaying who I am. I am damn sure not Guardian2946 !!!! I will not accept this bungie my twitter is Blakkperson my twitch is Blakkperson my runescape name for god sakes is Blakkperson. This is really ruining a season thats not going too well for me already. PLEASE GUYS GIVE ME AN UPVOTE I JUST WANT MY NAME BACK.

[/b] - For Steam players: your Steam profile name, not your Steam account name, will become your Bungie Name. 3 답변You lost your name because of a TOS that was already in place. You losing your name is nothing like the examples you provided. Those were real problems. Stop trying to use real problems in the world to try and get a video game display name back. Shame.

7 답변작성자: SolarCerberuS 9/29/2021 2:23:19 AMFirst of all your selected name should never have been an issue as its not offensive Unfortunately the 'woke' world has gone a little too far and far too often we have to live a little out of the box to slip by something like OnyxGuardian would likely keep some semblance of your original namesake but fly under the woke radar (But I whole heartedly dont think you should have to change your name just to be clear 👍) Of course its not the same and everyone should be free to be proud of their culture, skin colour, preferences etc, and have a name /identity that they feel proud of If that is their choice Hell Im a 6'4" built, bald headed, thick bearded male with a visible tattoo on my hand and I know too well the stereotypical label that comes with it. Im often either depicted as priveledged and or ignorant, women that dont know me often fear me to the point they cross the road if they see me walking in their general direction or Im just a muscle bound aggro meathead due to my stature and appearance. Truth be told Im kind hearted, tattoo depicts my devotion to my wife, I grew up in a struggling yet loving household, I would never intentionally hurt anyone outside of self defence let alone a female and Ive busted my backside off to be successful. But the world we live in and moreso the news and media often only shows the worst of what humanity has to offer.....no wonder there is so much fear and aggression Anyway enough of my waffling on though my point being your name is fine and BUNGIE if they have any common sense should reinstate your name pronto.

4 답변I just ran a strike with someone whos name is MrWhite, with some numbers at the end. I dont think theres anything wrong with the name Blakkperson or MrWhite, not trying to ban anyone else's name either, things should be even across the board. This is not a good look. Blakkperson should get heir name back. I saved a screenshot btw...

2 답변작성자: Demon_XXVII 9/29/2021 3:55:59 AMThe time for Bungie to be ultra cautious was back in the day you initially created it (There’s nothing offensive, it’s just their judgement call) & the time for them to make that decision was back in the moment you made your guardian profile [b]not[/b] later (because someone who hasn’t complained in 7 years) “might be offended” It seems fine that they were happy when you’re spending $$$$ on Comet DLC, seasons, Eververse etc They’re happy enough to monetise a cause by selling emblems frankly, editing your non offensive name is nonsense (especially having seen some of the appalling ID’s/Clan names out there) @Bungie Give the guardian his ID back

There is one answer I’m surprised most people don’t realize. The nature of his name is typically used in a derogatory manner on a video game platform. If I saw your name honestly, I would think you are just a child thinking you are funny.

Just saying, you are on the wrong forum if you are asking anything from them. So upvotes are all you will ever get unless a moderator makes a reply or a community manager, but even then that is as far as this will ever go. Mainly because when it comes to Bungie making up their mind on anything? Getting them to budge is a hell of a lot worse than trying to get a stubborn mule to move 😄

I get it, it's your name, and as a fellow brother yes you want to wear it on your sleeve and wear it proud You got to realize the internet is full of anonymity and hatred. Give a people an inch and they will take a mile. What if somebody who didn't have pure ideas dispute their name? And it got through? There are people out there jumping for joy ready to say all kinds of offensive things and call themselves offensive names. We saw it during raid first for vault of glass, You see it everywhere on the internet. The way I represent is I use the emblem on at least one of my characters at all times in the game. And I'm okay with that. I get it you do not have to be. But I personally would rather have that rather than have other people use it as a gateway method for hatred. I'm Black and I'm proud about it. And I rep that.
