The harsh truth a lot of you need. (Trials)
Hard to swallow pills : you all refused to play the mode before and now expect yourselves to suddenly be great at it. On top of this you assumed match making meant you'd suddenly start winning even though you're bad at the game mode. Furthermore for God knows what reason you haven't learnt that lesson yet so you think freelance means you a bad player will suddenly start winning. No if you're bad you're bad and you need to practice to get better.
No trials isn't for the sweat Lords anymore, you can literally get all the rewards aside from adept weapons and mods while losing constantly. Bungie made fantastic changes you all just refuse to practice, refuse to take the blame for loses often blaming your team of randoms or accusing the enemies of cheating or no lifing.
Most of all a lot of you actively refuse to use any form of lfg as well as never using fire team voice chat during games effectively shooting yourself in the foot from the get go, and then you're shocked you lose more than you win.
This season bungie is not to blame, sweats are not to blame, streamers and content creators are not to blame, YOU are to blame.
Edit : I want to throw this in here because I did not expect even 1 reply let alone the hundreds it's getting and I have no intention of replying back aside from this edit. Soooooo many of you are quick to get triggered and miss understand the tone of the post.

Anyways the clarification is this; there is nothing wrong with being bad we all sucked when we started and that's a fact, the problem is the majority actively refuse to put any time at all into practice in order to improve and instead immediately rush here to complain. Not 1 single time did I ever say opening up to solo and duo players was bad for trials idk why you people think the "1t W4s DyiNg B3fOrE s0loS gOt L3t iN" is a valid argument here given that's not in the slightest the thing I'm addressing. Yes it was dying, yes I'm happy with the population increase, but your attitudes are gonna just kill it again.
And finally arguably most importantly something I left out of the original post cos it was already longer than I wanted it to be; match making exists in trials purely as a form of practicing, introducing you to the game mode, and warming up before joining a team that is all. Is it possible to solo a ton of wins? Yes. Will the average player be able to do so? No. Can you solo flawless? Yes. Should the average player expect a solo flawless? No.
Ayo I final thing why so many replies being like "bro the changes were good" yeah my dude I straight up said in the post the changes bungie made are fantastic lmao we agreeing

This weekend I managed a solo flawless + 8 shutouts solo afterwards (one of which against gernader jake) Let me tell you, it is truly amazing how many people drop in to the mode not even knowing how it works. I had teamates run straight over free revives. I had teamates solo super the last enemy when we had a 3v1 and more rounds left to win. I had 1280 power level teamates (literally 2 games in a row, for my flawless lol) Generally speaking, MOST solo players right now are just terrible. And they wont even pay attention to game chat (on pc) when you tell them that camping in spawn is a losing strategy. Solo experience is rough.

Lol … this is literally just crying and then you say that you aren’t even going to interact with any of the comments. Why make a post to begin with… It’s not a new thing that not everyone is a great PvP player. Sure everyone wants to get loot. I think quitting is horrible. That happens a lot. Other than that, get a team if you dislike these people so much. And yeah, they don’t want to use lfg. Hmmm I wonder why … posts all read something like this “Trials be sweaty, 2.0 kd, checking, be good or kick” … and if you put up a post saying that you need a team, you either get no mic people who quit after losing one round (!) or just the worst players that you know you’re not going to get anywhere with them. Anyway, your post is dumb and condescending and since you don’t want to even enter the discussion, I’d say next time just cry alone and don’t inflict your pathetic problems on the community.

1 답변Here here! This mode isn't meant for unskilled people to go flawless. The first week of Trials this season was perfection and it needs to just stay that way. Perhaps make a flawless pool, but you're taken out of it as soon as you're no longer flawless.

A rather simple suggestion that will help reduce stomps and lead to better matchmaking: Take losses into account. A 6-27 card is not the same as a 6-0 card. Doesn't have to be all the time. If there's no one available to fill in the match in a timely manner, absolutely expand the search. But taking losses into account would address and alleviate a lot of the current matchmaking issues.

I can’t argue for or against the trials debate anymore because all I see is people who have google to look up “facts” and are good at arguing. I don’t consider any a valid argument just an opinion that is coming from someone who plays the game like it’s life or who doesn’t. If you have the time, will, and ability to play Destiny 2 all of the time that’s great. If you cheat…. Hahahaha geez that’s literally pathetic. If you play casual use that time extra time to look up strategy if you want to win and just a piece of advice from someone who played some solo trials lately (and enjoyed it in general but hated moments), get on the app and find a team to communicate with you will have a 99% better chance of winning. If you have crippling social anxiety I would just go for the loss level up and collect loot it’s still fun. I have had a few come from behind victories because I just try my hardest no matter what and I find those games really satisfying. It’s usually still pretty fun in the end this way.

I fully understand that skill has a large part to play in going flawless. However an even larger part is matchmaking, whether you want to admit it or not. I managed to get my first flawless, 4 wins in a party and 3 solo, and not a single one of those matches was against anyone who went flawless previously Of the 45 matches Ive played this weekend, minus the flawless run, only 2 of the 38 remaining matches were free of flawless players. I have never been flawless before, and over 76% of my matches I went in to had at MINIMUM 2 people who had gone flawless THIS WEEK. Its entirely possible that matchmaking just decided that I was the lucky person to get queued against the flawless groups as a solo, but that was just my experience

6 답변Yeah you're right no doubt. You tell me though how you get better when you get matched against people 5x your skill level most matches and get stomped 5-0. You need an even playing field to get better. You can't if you never get the chance. In all aspect trials would be very different without abilities to use as the meta

2 답변So basically a long winded get gud post... The Trials rework was an improvement but the mode is still in favor of the sweats. You say LFG unfortunately my stats dont make me an appealing choice amongst the guaranteed flawless post. I like Pvp but Trials isnt fun at all and isnt worth the headache IMO. For years people have made post stating get gud and all it did was drive the community away. I see some things will never change within this community.

The game mode dies (again) Bungie remove the mode and you and the other elite will be left with regular crucible. You will then whine and moan about there being no pvp endgame. Posting endless bring back Trials posts in the forum, wasting everybody's time. But no it's everybody else's fault not yours or the pvp community or streamers. People shouldn't be able to cake walk and chill Trials. It's meant to be a trial! Let alone people going flawless via streamer, clan or paid carries. That alone devalues the flawless title in itself. It's funny how we don't see endless posts about that do we? Trials does need to be balanced for the poor, average, great players along with the elites. If this doesn't happen. The Trials population will decline and we will all lose out in the end.

I understand all but there are still flaws in the gamemode. Matchmaking, solo vs stacks, flawless vs none flawless, restarting card just before winning last game. What bungie did was one right step but now they need to make another right step.

The streamers / content creators also constantly cried to Bungie to get SBMM removed just like the sweats so they both could stomp in trials and crucible to get better footage for their YT or Twitch channels … Bungie had trials in a pretty good place last week with huge player numbers involved but they decided that everything the community had told them was wrong and or just ignored it and put trials back to the toxic cesspit it once was and allowed flawless sweats to gatekeep and farm cards against weaker opponents just to boost KD ..

Even with SBMM and 50/50 win ratios, your chance of going flawless with a mercy passage on any given run is 3.5%. I also understand that 3-stacking with comms makes winning MUCH easier. However, using lfg and comms for PvP includes a lot of toxicity, which I would just prefer to avoid. So, I understand I am making it harder on myself by playing solo. However, some of the matches are just obscenely imbalanced. As an example, I played one match last night in which destiny tracker shows the ELOs as follows (Alpha: 3679, 3017, 1339 / Bravo: 927 (me), 920, 908). Team Alpha had a 100% chance of winning. We got a total of 2 kills. I had 1 kill and 1 assist. I didn't realize it while playing, but the 3679 was a streamer playing with his 3017 buddy, and they were doing carries in the non-flawless pool. In what universe is it fair to put three 900s against two 3000+ players. Each of those two had ELOs greater than the sum of my entire team. This isn't even a one-off. It is common for me to see single digit win chances on destiny tracker with the three lowest ELOs put together on one team and the three highest ELOs together on the other team. I know I'm not good at Trials, but the number and scale of mismatches is silly.
