Activity XP should outweigh Bounty XP (+ some season rank ideas)

There's like, zero way Bungie will ever respond to this, but I've been a player since D1 Beta / D2 Beta and man.. I hate Bounty the Game followed by Season Challenges, aka Bounty the Game: Electric Boogaloo. Activities, bottom line, should be granting better xp than bounty spamming your heart out. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF THE XP NUMBERS GIVEN ARE JUST E X A M P L E S, but, honestly, examples on a number that, in my opinion, would feel REWARDING for doing X activity. It really shouldn't be an issue, but when you're legit only granted like 5k xp per activity (or raid encounter) , My friends gave me some info on all their xp gains (approx.) on the raids they played, and oh man it's underwhelming. Let me preface this by the fact of the matter that you can complete 14 gunsmith bounties in about 15 minutes on avg. And full on raids are giving less XP than spamming bounties, on top of that, Lost Sectors give 1500-2000 xp per run, and resetting that counter to continue getting xp and glimmer takes 5 minutes tops. Now, for all the raids my friends did last week without the extra xp on the level ups Last Wish (one wipe at Vault) - 27,500ish xp (noting he's season rank 116 on this.) Deep Stone Crypt (no wipes, friend on ad clear) - 29,300ish xp Vault of Glass (no wipes outside of Gorgon's Labyrinth) - 24,800ish xp you can get 30k xp from bounties in just under 10 minutes, these raids all took around 40 minutes) Noting if you're a long time no-life player with thousands of mats to continuously get glimmer, I've seen people getting around 480kish xp from bounties alone in thrallway in 40 minutes, some people even so far as getting 520k thanks to loadtimes. Also Strikes / Crucible, etc.. barely give you anything, either. There's legit no reason to play these gamemodes to rank up outside of having a full quests tab filled with bounties to go alongside them. Imagine going into a Grandmaster nightfall, getting around 3000 ish xp from add clearing just for another 4000 to be granted, that's 7k xp for one of the end game experiences, that can sometimes take absolutely forever to go through. Now Onto what I really want to say in terms of feedback Grinding Activities should outweigh the XP of just bounty spamming in thrallway or a lost sector (like Wolfship Turbine, as an example) The longer / harder an activity, the more XP it should be giving. Raid encounters WITH shared Wisdom and an over season rank 100 player is only granting max 4700xp each encounter. It's absurdly low. Now, yeah, you can say these changes to XP would be heavily abused, which, yeah, is true, but like.. people are already sitting in the Shattered Throne for 18 hours a day for bounties. Raid ENCOUNTERS should give 8500 xp per encounter (Master VOG encounters should grant 12,500) (Activating Petra's Run should grant 12500 as well), upon completing the raid, you should be granted another 15k xp. So instead of getting 4500 per encounter + 4500 at the end encounter plus whatever xp you got at random, you'd be getting 8500 (or 12500 on higher difficulties) After a bit of math, Master VOG SHOULD would be giving players nearly a season rank per completion on each character, every repeat should give 20% less xp flatlined, (so, every consequential run would give 6800xp per encounter, and then 12000xp for completing the raid flat out. ---------- PLAYLIST STREAKS SHOULD GRANT EXTRA XP UPON EVERY COMPLETION. ---------- Vanguard strikes give 3500-5000 depending on shared wisdom and season rank, which, for standard vanguard strikes _are completely fine_ I'd say when you pass 5 consecutive strikes played in the playlist, you get 20% more xp, and after 15 consecutive strikes played, you'd get another 20% xp boost, plus increased rank progression the exact process with Regular QP Crucible Trials Should be granting 10k per win and 6500 per loss instead of the current 3kish it grants. Iron Banner wins would grant 8.5k per win and 5.5k per loss These would give more incentive for better play, because you'd be getting more XP per wins, and, given how fast and slow trials and ib matches can go, getting extra rewards for wins is always nice. Adept Nightfalls should be giving 5.5k per strike, consecutives on 1290 after 5 is 10% extra Hero Nightfalls should be granting 10k xp per strike, after 5 in a row, 15% extra boost + 10% extra rank progression on Vanguard Legend Nightfalls should be granting 12.5k xp per strike, after 5 is a 20% extra xp boost, plus 10% extra rank progression on Vanguards. MASTER - 18.500 per strike, after 5, 25% XP Boost, 15% Rank Progression on Vanguard GM - 35k per strike, after 5, 35% XP Boost, 25% Rank Progression on Vanguard. On the topic of Glory matches, I feel like as you reach upper levels of the ranking system you should be granted more xp on consecutive wins. (but i'm not a pvp player) the XP Granted during Mayhem, Momentum and Team Scorched are perfectly fine where they are (p.s offtopic but... please make rotation playlist of all three that are permanent pls and thanks) The game doesn't exactly feel ENGAGING if it's just "do the weekly stuff and then sit in thrallway or lost sectors the entire rest of the day" Every activity should be awarding on the loot AND the XP GAINS. Hell. Make going past 100 worth it, just keep on repeating 2 eververse engrams and 2000 bright dust infinitely, maybe drop in an exotic engram every 30-50 ranks past 100. Give us something to go after, even if it's just optional. There's already folks at season rank 500 and it's utter insanity, Granted, that's just pure insanity and probably macro'd but like.. if you're gonna dead stop the season pass (especially on the free progression around rank 70, why is that a thing???) Speaking about Season Pass, offtopic side suggestions litter Good rolled weapons throughout the rest of the 70-100 season rank on free, +1 to your current BPL no matter your base power level (unless it's max), add back high stat roll armors, move the random legendary engrams throughout the rest of the card. Hell, getting to SR100 on Free should grant a bundle of items. currently it just grants 2000 bright dust. What I think, in my opinion, it should grant... - 2000 bright dust - A full set of the current season armor at 65+ rolls at random (can be tweaked) - 250 Legendary Shards - 50k Glimmer - 250 of every destination material. NOTING CURRENTLY, YOU'RE JUST GETTING NOTHING FOR FREE SR100 outside of 2000 bright dust. -- Premium rewards should also appear on Free side when the free side starts running out of items and starting to loop, i.e destination materials, prisms, random legendary engrams, etc.. edit, nvm, it starts diminishing QUICKLY at SR40. Bungie man, you gotta make this grind more interesting Not just by making it so Activities actually feel rewarding, but, like, you know, having a season pass for free folks that doesn't run dry 40 season ranks in :/
