The Corrupted strike is awful. That’s just a fact, but it would actually be great as one of the more challenging strikes if it actually worked. My issue with it isn’t the difficulty, but the fact that it is near impossible to get platinum. The champions either do not spawn right, suicide themselves, or the game just doesn’t give it to you even after killing all the champions. I did a run yesterday where we meticulously whittled down the two ogre bosses in an attempt to get every champion to spawn, and only killed them after we were sure that they had, and we still got gold somehow.

1 답변작성자: WulfPak666 9/17/2021 11:57:46 PMI hate the Taken as an enemy in general. My hatred for them almost rivals the Scorn in terms of annoying as Spammy abilities and general absurdity. I hate the Psion that multiply a dozen times each time they get hit. I hate the acolytes spamming seeker eyes every 2 seconds. I hate the knights spamming fire spray from across the map with pinpoint accuracy. I hate Taken ogres ragdolling your -blam!- from across the map with their eye blast. I hate how the Taken Wizard jazz hands flat out insta kill you in 2 shots and they fire em non stop. I hate Taken Phalanx that instant blast you at mach 5 against a wall. I hate Taken Minotaurs and their full auto spam Cannon. I hate Taken Captains and their spammy blight balls. I hate Taken Vandals and Hobgoblins. I hate Taken Goblins making every one immortal from like 3 football fields away through walls and entire rooms. Taken thrall can piss off too. Not to mention it just feels like their damage is ramped up for some reason in comparison to other enemies. In Gambkt and Prophecy Dungeon I die soo friggin fast to the simplest of attacks despite running nearly 100 resil and resist mods. It's absurd. The Corrupted has ALL of that, Scorn, Hive and just about every single element shield there is. On top of the that, it's still a buggy mess. Enemies disappeare and reappear behind you. The ball goes through enemy shields or does nothing. Sometimes it straight vanishes out of my hands when I go to throw it. Then, those chuckle knuts over at Bungie decided, "hey, how can we make boss stomp 1,000,000x more annoying?? Oh make a modifier that ramps that mofo up 10 fold! Oh and give the boss a tiny room with like a insta death in all directions!" Granted that's only the nightfall but even so, add all that on top of matching with randoms who don't know basic mechanics and you can guarantee I back my happy -blam!- out of that strike with the quickness. There's only 1 way to fix that strike. Highlight, drag, drop into trash, empty that bin asap.

2 답변I normally farm nightfalls every week, like a lot, dozens and dozens of runs, this week is a miss for me, it's even worse than the fallen one last week.
-
I would say this is mostly false. People hated this strike before champions were even introduced and long before it was in the nightfall rotation. It's length is the issue people have with it. I've had plenty of occurrences where champs are booped off the bridge in lake of shadows, yet that is still regarded as one of the best strikes PURELY because it's short.

1 답변Bugs aside, the strike is still just not enjoyable to me. It's too long and the boss is annoying, especially in the NF.

1 답변We got into that one small room where you have to toss the orbs. However, in order to start the encounter you have use your ghost to scan. But it wouldn’t let us scan.

2 답변Nah. The boss sucks, and nobody knows how to use the use the bombs correctly, because it’s just a random gameplay mechanic without any explanation.

1 답변I just want to make a couple of notes for people here about changes I believe I observed running this nightfall this week. Bungie have limited the orbs in play to 3 at a time, killing the old charged orb stacking farm which was required to pass the Elevator encounter before. Elevator encounter itself though remains unchanged. No change noticed in the Ogre room. For Sedia I’m actually really interested to see how this goes. Bungie seem to have condensed the waves of adds into far more manageable waves, cutting down on them in the first half while in the second they have been combined. Rather interested to see how all of this affects the GM version, especially with the addition of Stasis.

What makes it worse is that the horror's least that drops from it comes at 0 power, so it is completely unusable without bringing your power down by about 250. Also, the elevator doesn't always give you the option to activate it, making it impossible to progress.

2 답변See, this is the main gripe most folks have had for a while now. While Bungie is eager to put out newer content in order to keep players invested, they never fix problems that remain prevalent in older content and the like, which is why we tend to see a lot of issues and glitches for old gear and the like occurring as often as they do. They leave it all behind once it’s been made and put in, never or rarely bothering unless it’s something that can actually affect gameplay as a whole.
One good example is how they set up the New Light Crucible questline. One part of it requires a player to hop into Elimination for two match completions. That’s not terribly problematic, however, Elimination is by far the worst PvP activity possible for introducing New Lights to. Had made a new warlock after BL dropped to get the full experience and in both matches joined up with randoms just like me to lose both games against stacked teams with Flawless and gilded Unbroken titles, with a teammate dropping out of one of those games. That’s the norm us old lights are used to, but it is not the kind of experience you wanna incentivize new players to investing in the Crucible. You don’t get better or improve from a pubstomp and whoever was the jackwagon who made that part like that was blatantly out of touch with players. With new players, you need to provide a healthy and non-predatory gaming environment that leaves them wanting to come back to that activity they just played. The fact that that has been left that way is proof, they make something, they drop it like public transportation drops off an old lady at a bus-stop in the middle of the night and drive off to the next thing without looking back, so long as it doesn’t affect them getting their wages from the fare.
