Interesting, how many of us, D1 lovers are still here? I am buying crap Bungie prodocing, but only reason is because i love kaboom and gunplay.

Been at this since right after Dark Below was released. And believe me, D2 might have some issues (PvP in particular), but it's come a long way forward since the dual primary days and the Dawning lootbox debacle (enough to turn the ever-festive Ghost of Christmas Present himself into Ebenezer Scrooge).

Been here since the Dinklebot days, i played Destiny at a friends house and it was the reason i got a PS4 just to play it. Thousands of hours later i'm still here and i still enjoy playing. I don't think i'll ever put this many hours into a game ever again, i took extended breaks but never truly quit.

I'm a destiny 1 vet. Unfortunately my original firetream, infact clan, has left. I think this is my 4th clan now. I loved d1 and all that it was, I had some amazing times playing it, now it feels difficult to love it. Im now a casual player, with family now and a full time job, so its difficult to really get the most out of it. I often find now ove missed something or don't have time to complete something now I have other commitments. But hey, I play evey weekend, and if anyone wants to add me or whatever I'm down to help a fellow guardian.

Started on Xbox for the D1 beta, then onto ps4 for D2 through Forsaken, and now on PC with the current game. I have spent countless dollars and hours, I've had minimal fun, I hate the grind. 10/10 game, would recommend it to my grandma if she were still alive.

Playing since D1 beta, the gunplay mechanics and artwork is what keeps me coming back The game itself is tiresome, repetitive and full of buggy junk. Every week it's the same stuff over and over, you get this carrot, follow it and then eat it for meager rewards. Too much nerfing, too much 'balancing. Just turn the game into one giant mayhem match, it would be more fun... at least for a short time. Wish they would be more creative - there were several mini-events (like Sparrow Racing) or Eliksni incursions in D1 that kept it interesting, the only real new thing besides raids in D2 was the Presage - need more explorative puzzle tasks like that, not requiring clan planning or LFG for everything - end game content is not for everyone.

Not many. A lot of upvotes are from those who never played D1. I have played D1, but most of D1 vets like me left a long time ago as D2 has under-performed and ignored feedback throughout its lifecycle. How many new PvP maps & enemy races has D2 introduced again? Pretty much none. There was a ton of upvotes posts about players announcing their departure from this game when it was at its peak, numbers-wise when people realised what’s going on, and I guarantee you that they DID leave the game (statistically, D2 has lost over 10-40 million players, with a large portion doing so during year 1). I’d wager the few that remain are more or less recent players.
