When can we expect D1 levels of cosmetic style?
Destiny honestly had some of the best armor and weapon styles, what happened with D2? The only armor design I really liked were seasonal ornaments from season of the hunt.
I do like the direction with weapon designs though.

1 답변So what I want to know, as someone who played a -blam!- ton of D1... What do you people see in D1 armor and weapons that is somehow better than D2? Like, D1 has so many weapons and armors which make the fact that Bungie quite literally used a Halo reach type system for creating different armors and weapons so obvious, whereas D2 has so many more unique and stylized weapons. I just don't see how this idea that D1 has better armor and weapons is so popular.

12 답변We have easily surpassed most D1 armors levels of style, people seem to forget that outside of Age of Triumph ornaments and raid armors D1 armors were incredibly bland and boring.

I think they are taking a step in the right direction honestly. I think all the Corsair-looking armour this season looks good and the thorn based armour for the 30th anniversary... I can’t even describe how much I love the way those sets look.

1 답변You need to fix your eyes. You're saying the entire WotM raid set is dogshit? Or on hunter with the strength of the pack cloak, crest of the alpha lupi, and pretty much any legs with chatterwhite is dogshit? Or any of the Y3 raid sets? Maybe it's hard to remember that far back with alzheimer's.

21 답변Here's something that will make people mad but its the truth. THE ONLY SETS FROM D1 THAT WERE GOOD WERE: -1 IRON BANNER SET -AGE OF TRIUMPH ARMOR every other set is dogshit compared to D2 and everybody who says otherwise is riding on nostalgia

Why make things great and free? That's what happened. If Bungie can't make money from it they're uninterested in making good designs. Titans overall look terrible, Warlocks got dresses over coats, and what a shock the most played class Hunter has the majority of good pieces but a good chunk of cloaks are terrible.

Eh, D2 has some good armor. Problem is, most good-looking sets are tied to eververse or are from past seasons. Also, why is it that Fall DLC destination armor sets almost always look worse than the seasonal armor sets? Reverie Dawn was the last decent one, and that was outdone by all three year 2 seasonal DLCs.

Don’t get me wrong, D2 has [i]some[/i] nice sets, and D1 definitely had its trash sets too. That being said most of the stuff in D1 looked so much better than D2, especially the Raid armour (with or without ornaments)
