I mean it ain't really pay to win. You're paying for more content. It's basically paying for another season/mini expansion with this content. New activities, new loot, etc. This isn't anything new.
Now if you just get the weapon upon paying for it, then that crosses the line on pay to win. But if there's a quest, you're paying for it the same as you pay for any other new content in the game, or any other loot driven game with dlc for that matter. I dont think we know for certain which one we're getting yet
A quest with cinematics cut together from old cutscenes and missions in existing spaces is just a front for asking you to pay $20 for Ghorn. It’s not content.
I don’t think anyone benefits from dancing around it and trying to make excuses on Bungies behalf, it’s the next evolution of micros, and there will be more.
I mean, since you already know what the quest is, I'll just take your word for it then. You obviously have insider info that the rest of us don't.
And again, this aint new to the game, new exotics and new quests come with new paid content. It's basically another season releasing within the 6 month one. It's just how it is. Is it a consumer friendly practice? Not really. Should it be this way? Probably not. Is it pay to win? Absolutely not. Instantly unlocking seasonal exotics through owning a season as opposed to unlocking it on the free track is more pay to win than this.
