Stasis is your friend

It's completely stupid. Your own regen is nerfed to -100. They get back full health by the time you reload the weapon.

Make sure all your guns are loaded and ready, your abilities are charged before stunning the overload champs, so many times I stun them and lose valuable time reloading

Next seasons going to be a long one so you'll have plenty of time to level up your artifact, meaning you'll be tearing through legend and master difficulty if you put the work in. I'd say plan your loadout around the champions, otherwise you'll get stuck. Then figure out the shields, align both of those with your gear of choice + subclass then boom, you're golden. Much like a lot of the guys/ girls here on this thread, I've done all the lost sectors solo flawless on every difficulty. They become really easy when you figure out your groove.

Choose your Lost Sectors wisely, as in don’t do them if they have Overload champions in because they are a pain to deal with. Choose your weapons/perks wisely too. Perks like explosive rounds can take a barrier down 1-2 shots quicker than without but something like Polaris Lance that keeps refunding shots can be invaluable. Also if you have a rocket launcher with Clown Cartridge use it. Study what combat style mods you have. If your having trouble staying alive use protective light. If your just want more overall damage use High Energy Fire. If your struggling with boss DPS; Lucent Blade or Argent Ordnance. I advise against mixing these mods though. For example if you use Protective light to stay alive and HEF to up your damage output you’ll probably burn through all your stacks of “charged with light” with HEF leaving nothing for protective light. Set your armour up according to your enemy. For example if your going against Fallen put on a Arc chest pease with double arm resist. Cabal, double solar. As for actually doing the lost sector I tend to stay back and try and get rid of as many ads as I can then concentrate on the champions. Before I tackle them make sure everything is fully loaded then stun them and DPS them with heavy. Honestly it’s that easy. The hardest bit is finding the load out that works.

Just keep toying with your loadout. You’ll get it.

Use the mods to stun the champions and use your power weapon to finish them off. Be ready to swap back to your stunning weapon and repeat the cycle of stun, heavy damage, stun, heavy damage, until they die.

if on your titan, configure your artifact for arc nade mod and switch to arc subclass (double nades). pretty good way to handle the overloads. i run witherhoard, an auto that matches the shields of the ads and a good rocket launcher (really like chain reaction as it helps clear ads while hitting the boss). once ads are clear, drop a witherhoard pool on/by the overload. follow with the nade to stun and then hit him with a rocket. should take him out pretty quick. i find swords a bit challenging for them as they jump around too much to hit consistently. as mentioned, take your time, not dying is key. clear ads first so you can focus on overload.

Only do the 1310 light ones, they are the easiest ones but do still provide a challenge if you go unprepared.

Not dying is more important than speed. You begin with a certain number of respawns, and each champion kill gives you another. One tactic is to kill the adds first, where possible, so you can focus on the champion. Or use something with high burst damage on them, like a rocket launcher to kill them quickly. Also, Match Game can be super important if you’re not using the right damage type. What specific list sector is giving you problems?
