Thats bungie for ya, two step forward ten steps back.
There track record for bad ideas for balancing their very broken sandbox never ceases to amaze me.
Give all primary weapons infinite ammo but slap on a bunch of unnecessary crap and nerf one of the most under used gl in the game to "balance" it.
All I'm asking is why? Why do you have to continuously mess with stuff, you could have just left primary alone nobody asked for this, its not even hard to get primary ammo.
This is just unnecessary what did a dev think that this was a smart idea or is this just more dumb ideas from the streamer community?

작성자: Mr. Morale 8/20/2021 7:06:18 PMYou realize we are gonna get adjustments to specials in crucible right? They want more primary gunplay than special. This is just preparing us for those changes, infinite primary will compliment the sandbox they want, a primary gunplay. Once we get that special ammo adjustment things like fighting lion would’ve received the nerf eventually. Being that it’s one of, or only, special weapon that uses primary ammo. It would basically become icebreaker for GL, remember how people used icebreaker once you had to get special ammo from a box? Exactly.

작성자: Grim 8/20/2021 12:12:50 PMWhat, when did I say that? I didn't say that everything else in the twab was a bad idea I just don't like the idea that bungie continues to mess with shit that nobody asked for when there tons of other things that need to be addressed.

I'll say whatever I feel like bub, besides I "implied" that hard nerfs to an under used weapons is pointless. Can you really sit there and tell me that no reload speed on an exotic gl is good choice? Who the hell is going to use it now when its reloading speed is like using dial up internet? The only way to make it any faster is to get 2 kills with one nade, in crucible thats never going to happen when the other team is using better weapons. And your over there trying to reload to get the kill like you just got hit by a slowmo nade.

If the primary ammo economy drastically changes, than it will be spammed. It’s a pre nerf so we don’t have to deal with it in the future. Also it’s only hits to increase reload, not kills which is a lot easier. I think you’re overreacting

Just out of curiosity, have you yourself ever bothered to Fighting Lion in a PvP activity? Perhaps in a dedicated activity like Comp or Trials? It’s not exactly a reliable, one-shot gl, if you can even get a body kill from direct hit; never seen it on my end but who knows. It’s a shield breaker. That’s pretty much all it has going for it against Guardians. You run that, bounce a ‘nade around a corner or blind-spot, knock an opponent’s shields out and follow up with a strong precision hitter like any of the meta-flavors of HCs that have been running rampant for a while now. Far as I see it, this is just some dumb decision they made out of fear of trying to solve a problem they had to make up for no good reason. It’s not gonna really change anything. The nerf to reload speed isn’t gonna solve folks back peddling to gain distance to spam more ‘nades with it. It’s not gonna stop folks from just outright camping across a map or corridor to spam ‘nades. All that the reload nerf is gonna do is just force folks to run GLs with special ammo instead and just not use FL, much like the ridiculous logic that the devs could entice players to use Sanguine Alchemy by fiddling with Boots of the Assembler instead of fixing it properly.
