They aren’t bogged down with dead perks. Negative Space can get the classic relentless/whirlwind, so damage isn’t really an issue. Sola’s is actually incredible for add clear and isn’t… awful for damage, depending on the roll. The primary point though is that instead of making something unique for warlocks, they just get a dog shit version of something that already exists. Being a different element doesn’t even vaguely change that.

Then you have no idea how powerful dodge is. I main Warlock but I gave Hunter exclusive time a while ago. With MW'd armor, not some casual messing around. My Hunter cleared PvP ranked all the way thru just for a quest. I played it seriously is what I'm saying. Hunter is absolutely easier than Warlock in every conceivable scenario. PvP is not filled with people throwing void or solar fireballs or floating in the sky like the 'fantasy' Bungie thinks work in the game. It's filled with ninjas tumbling around or gorillas trying to shoulder slam you. I love my Warlock and his build is strong. But you put me in a million dollar money match and I will make another Hunter and bet on him.
