Not everyone are fortunate enough to have their own clan or fire-team that can assist in matters outside their own interest, whether it's a older Raid, Dungeon or Higher difficulty Nightfall. Some people just lack friends to begin with. Some like it that way others don't. But that is not the point.
Bungie, it's time you got of your high horse and gave something back to the solo players, give us the possibility to matchmake older content, like the Shattered throne, Gos, Pit of Heresy and so on.
There are so much content and like myself we have only skimmed the surface at this point.
The whole idea with a RPG or MMORPG is to have the fair chance to increase in stats and OBTAIN better gear without have the need for a private army of players.
I can bet my bottom dollar on that the playerbase would increase if Bungie would open some more doors to the casual and single players out there.
I have tried many time to solo Pit of heresy and i seem not be able to finish it. Why?
Really bad stat armor and lackluster weapons to begin with.
I watched a guy on Youtube that wasted över 8000 legendary shards on Master Rahool just to see what he could get. I have never even been closed 8000 shards in the first place. Every piece that need upgrades demands so much grind that i feel it's not worth it. But with a Matchmaking feature for the dungeons people would jump in , i certain of it. There are always people that want to make a run, and others can follow. No it's not the same as "guided" because this is matchmade and most people already know the route.
Just like Presage, i have run the mission so many times, just to end up getting obliterated in the end because of Sh*tty loot drops with bad stats and unfair RNG.
People run Crucible, Gambit and Nightfalls just to get better gear to be able to advance to high end content like VOG. There are so many out there that never will reach that far. Much because of the strict policy of the "elitist" players. And that will make Destiny veteran players drop of one by one.
But i guess that will never happen, cause if more players would flock to the servers Bungie would have a real meltdown and upgrading the hardware will never occur, cause why mend something that is already broken?
It's a real shame, so much content and much of it just wasted away instead for people to enjoy!
You wan't to grow in number Bungie?
UNLOCK MATCHMAKING FOR MORE CONTENT
Those who claim that will ruin the experience seem not to have played public events like Blind Well, Altars of Sorrow and Override. The work just flawless without people chatting on mic or typing messages.
Destiny is so broken and glitchy, and when you have to find other ways to play this type content the way it's not sopposed to be played. That right there says everything.
You want new raid gear, well if you can't get a fireteam together, either use a "boost service" or "glitch the game to skip segments to reach the bosses.
Those that feel they belong to the elite player group, well you have all the PVP, GM NF and VOG that you can play on the hardest difficulty and brag about.
I'm talking about just getting a fresh start with some decent loot so even a solo player can manage Presage on their own. Maybe that is to much to ask for.
Everything in this game cost materials, and without material you can not upgrade. Try getting ascendant shards without doing raids or dungeons.
Bungie open the door and let the players in for once!

25 답변It's actually hilarious because you stated it yourself, it's an MMORPG style game...so you know what that means? GROUP UP AND OVERCOME HARD CONTENT AS A COMMUNITY!! I'm sick of seeing players complain about being stuck solo, its not bungie's fault you don't have friends to play with. It's not their fault you refuse to find people and team up. That's on you. I've met hundreds and hundreds of players through the years and if only 1 of 10 of those players becomes a long time friend, then that's fine. I founded my own clan and only accepted kind, helpful players and over time our clan got filled to max. Look for like minded players and stop complaining that an online community game makes you have to play with the community. Ffs it's the whole damned point of the game. You're ridiculous

I mean... I'm a fellow solo but managed to do some of the meat of endgame activities. It really depends on the LFG groups. But I will no longer join clans because I don't want to move room to room for discord. lol

2 답변
Bungie, it's time you got of your high horse and gave something back to the solo players
As a D1 vet, this game is so filthy casual friendly it is actually painful. Games like these, the endgame is designed around teamwork and coordination. The mentality is that you can only go so far on your own, eventually you will need to do team based things to progress. You aren't asking bungie to change it, you are asking for the whole mmo/rpg genre to change. Look i get the social anxiety thing and i can sympathize, but how do you think it would work in an automatic matchmaking where you can't talk and someone doesn't know what to do? Would you not get even more stressed when people screw up(whether innocently or maliciously) and you can't speak out to them?

6 답변It's time for Bungie to remove matchmaking on all PVE content. As a solo player I want to play solo.
-
I'm totally down for matchmaking for older dungeons. That should be a thing. But you can't matchmake GoS. Because on matchmaking people won't use voice and you need it. And I don't want them wasting resources dumbing down the raids. And I don't want them dumbing down the raids anyway.

I’m in the same situation. Simple for me, make all weapons, all rolls of those weapons (perks), all armour all mods, all exotics available for PvP quick play. Let players who pay for the game have the chance to use everything in PvP. It’s a PvE game anyway and Crucible is an add on where “Guardians get to test themselves against other Guardians”. So make it fair in quick play, everyone can get any load out etc. (as long as they paid for the game). I’m happy to admit it’s a game for people to play together, and raids, vaults, grandmasters should have rewards. But solo players should have at least limited access to all content. Crucible would seem to be the place. Specifically quickplay (I have no wish to do trials). It’s not like there is a Luna’s Howl, Redrix’s or Recluse to grind for these days in PvP so why not let us solo players get to pick from a “Crucible Weapons and Armour Locker” (you’re welcome Bungie - I won’t sue if you use this).

"The whole idea with a RPG or MMORPG is to have the fair chance to increase in stats and OBTAIN better gear without have the need for a private army of players." We've got the tools to reach that. Whether we use them or not is on us. There is really next to nothing stopping you from reaching your peak. "I have tried many time to solo Pit of heresy and i seem not be able to finish it. Why? Really bad stat armor and lackluster weapons to begin with." So your inability to use tools provided to get better things is why you fail? Pit is a doable soloable activity. It just takes a bit of time and patience. "Blind Well, Altars of Sorrow and Override" These don't require a level of communication to complete......and frankly can't be failed with time wasting consequences. "You want new raid gear, well if you can't get a fireteam together, either use a "boost service" or "glitch the game to skip segments to reach the bosses." Again the tools are provided. It's up to you to put them to use. There's the app / discord to name 2. "Everything in this game cost materials, and without material you can not upgrade. Try getting ascendant shards without doing raids or dungeons." Legend Nightfalls / Hero Nightfalls (Hero already MM) Master for Ascendants if you don't wanna lose your mind doing GMs. I'm not against letting solos play on their own in higher tier content........ What I am against is random match making at higher tiers. In short, you want matchmaking at the top of the line it seems. You really have no clue how bad that would be at all. But if you want it and then see the disasterous consequences after it's implemented.....so be it. It's the only way for you guys an girls to see how awful your ideas are.....is for Bungie to implement them. "but we are far from stupid!" - Then act like it and stop fooling around like dense clowns. Prove your worth to the teams you play with by actually showing what you can do.

작성자: IronHatchett 8/18/2021 9:53:05 PMThere's a lot of stupid here that we could get into and others already have but... you've never reached 8k legendary shards? Like total or just all at once? I'm sitting at over 25k just from dismantling all the weapons/armor I've gotten. It took me like 1 month to reach 10k. It seems like you're complaining that you can't solo everything and also are unwilling to put the effort in to be able to solo, anything. If you can't even get to 8k legendary shards, all that tells me is you've never put in the time to craft an actual build with high stat gear, you upgrade everything you get instead of only what's actually worth upgrading which leads to you always having no mats, and you try to solo things without being the appropriate power level and using whatever you want instead of whats optimal for that encounter or piece of content. Don't get me wrong, it is possible to clear stuff using what you want, I completed a solo flawless PoH using ratking and graviton forfeit and that was my easiest run.. but I'm also experienced in end game content... mostly because I've gone and found people to practice that end game content with. You have no idea how bad a raid full of complete randoms would be. 1 person would be from the other side of the globe causing hella lag, 1 person would refuse to use a mic, 2 would be friends that either -blam!- around with each other or get toxic towards you if you don't know what you're doing and the last person would have an always on mic with their family, pets and half the neighborhood screaming the background. There's a very very easy to use LFG literally on this website. I found my first PC friend in the first LFG group I joined to do a GoS raid and he introduced me to the clan I'm in now. The people I've completely every single piece of end game content with, and am teamed with to go for day 1 Witch Queen raid. This is a social game. If YOU don't want to be social that's on you. Instead of complaining that you should be able to solo everything, grow up and try to find some people to play with like everyone else. Also, how is Presage giving you shitty loot drops with bad stat and bad rng. You're literally guaranteed Dead Man's Tale. There's is no rng there, it's one of the best weapons in the game, and almost every perk that can drop is useful (obviously some are better than others).
Those that feel they belong to the elite player group, well you have all the PVP, GM NF and VOG that you can play on the hardest difficulty and brag about.
Elite group? Here? In Destiny? Over the years, I didn't really realize that exists. I mean, most of the time you would see people performing tricks as if they are entertainers of the place I forgot the name of, it's like a huge tent. Like this -->🎪 And you see these guys doing weird acts that are amusing. Most of the time they wear this white face paint or make up and they have these weird looking red nose. They kinda look like this -->🤡 I thought that's what these group are. They kinda do some amusing stuff.

작성자: Ty’Riis, Kell of the Hood 8/18/2021 7:29:21 PMDestiny is a LOOTER SHOOTER. Neither D1 or D2 was made to be played alone. However, you can solo dungeons, master/grandmaster nightfalls, or comp. Playing Destiny alone isn’t the best idea. Lfg is a great tool. I have a Deep stone 3 man and flawless on every raid but VOG because of it.

And be 10inches and uncut if you wanna kick it with the elitist guardians. Something that's supposed too be used for having fun is actually the most toxic thing in this game now that's guarded by the few fab guardians who treat it like Grindr. 👀👀👀👀 For that anarchy, man! Hbu?.. 😬😬😬🤣🤦

Right, I play alot by myself but I am part of a clan. That vast majority of game time I spend on my own (just because I like to do what I want, when I want) but I do have friends to play raids and stuff with. Without trying to be a pratt, this game is designed to play with other people, which means you may have to go out your comfort zone and actually lfg games. That's what we all have had to do. Yes you get some idiots, but that vast popularity of people here are super friendly (and if they are not, just leave and try again). As for materials, I have 16k shards just from playing and deleting crap from the vault/engrams etc so I'm not sure what you're doing doing different to anyone else. Now, I do believe match making should be turned on for higher end content (like the 1310 nightfall) but you cannot raid/gm nightfall without speaking to the team. Which means you cannot solo it (unless you're esoteric). This ultimately isn't a 100% solo player game.. its time to suck it up and make friends. If you're on pc you can play with me and my clan.
