Hi guys. So I have jumped back on destiny 2 and am finding a new found love for it again. Had 3 max characters back from when the game released but haven’t played since, that’s 3 characters at level 1100 today. I delete my Warlock and start again so I can play with my mate who is new. When I get to level 1260 I am given the option to spend silver to get a full blue set of gear for my other characters at 1260 stat level. I decide to buy this for my titan as I got the full set of IRON TRUAGE gear from the Iron Banner event way back when. I decide to dismantle the blue set and infuse the IRON TRUAGE set as it looks wicked. I have been doing this with other bits of armor I had from release. I was met with a pop up saying your armor will not meet the level of the level 1260 pieces as it has a cap. I tested this on the Leg piece (IRON TRUAGE GREAVES) and the 1260 piece disappeared and the greaves stayed at level 1100! My whole set of iron banner armor will not advance from 1100 and yet other old pieces from release will, not only that I have just spent 16 pounds for the pleasure of this and 2k silver has gone down the drain! Surely we have to be told that yes our character will get a set of armor at 1260 power but that items (such as the old school iron banner) cannot be increased! Would I have payed for that knowing the IRON TRUAGE SET would not increase? Absolutely not, the whole purchase was made with increasing the power of that set in mind. I have been infusing many other release legendaries and exotics with no issue, I feel somewhat cheated.
