No, just, no. It already has too much ammo that you can get back from killing people in pvp on the bottom tree. You can basically shoot forever until your super runs out, so long as you have targets. The top tree is dominated by celestial nighthawk, which buffs the damage, or star eater scales, which buffs the damage. If you want orbs from more precision hits from adding more ammo to it, your team would benefit, however star eaters are a more logical choice bc orbs = super and a buff to damage. Your lucky pants change would just give more shots, which aren't needed. Hit your critical shots, and everything will be fantastic for you.
