Dead mans tale quest rip off
Everywhere I've looked it states the seasons pass is required to get the dead mans tale. So okay $13.50 isn't terrible. bought it. got the transponder from the strike went to Zavala. Now its telling me I have to buy an damn $85.00 expansion to get it??? Am i missing something here or did I just waste money on the pass?

1 답변I’d check what you actually need next time before purchasing. Beyond light is a good expansion and worth the money in my opinion. Free to play is more like an extended demo so don’t expect to get too much without paying for the annual expansion.

12 답변Hi there. That quest was available to season pass owners of Season of the Chosen. If you didn't have a pass during last season and bought one now with Silver, you bought a pass for Season of the Splicer, the current season. The only way to get past season passes to gain access to past seasonal activities and quests is to buy or upgrade to the Beyond Light Deluxe Edition.

My brother bought silver for this season pass and he had to upgrade to deluxe in order to get access to previous content. If they prompted him to upgrade to deluxe prior to purchasing silver, he would have saved money. So its a cash grab. Solution = pay silver for each activity, the stupid skin etc for the no time to explain and the ghost and the emote is not worth that money.

You probably bought the current season pass, which comes with Override and Expunge and all that new stuff. DMT on the other hand comes from last season’s pass, which you need to buy the Deluxe edition of BL in order to get now. The season pass isn’t universal, it’s only for the current season which DMT isn’t a part of.

My friend had/has the same issue, since the season pass has already gone for DMT then the only way to obtain it you have to purchase the deluxe edition of Beyond Light (for what reason i have no idea why but they dont sell the previous season passes as extra when expired) Imo youre better off waiting for the next expansion since we have this season and a next one until then, after that im guessing theyll be available in that Exotic kiosk in the Tower.
