Title. Only exception is running double special weapons.
Other options could be to completely remove scavenger mods in PvP as well as increasing primary bodyshot TTKs to make them more forgiving. Kujay made a great video on it on YT

The reason why the Crucible always has a "special weapons" problem is because its primary weapons have been UNDERPOWERED....and have been since about midway through Year 1 of Destiny ONE. By underpowered, I mean that primaries kill too slowly to keep up with the speed at which players can move. Think of it this way. There is nothing wrong with someone with a shotgun (Felwinters) being able to OHK me from halfway to the pitchers mound, if I'm standing at home plate. But there is EVERYTHING wrong with that player being able to run at me from short centerfield......teleport to second base....and then slide halfway across the infield and OHK from that same spot..... ....before any of the game's primary weapons can kill him. Shotguns feel oppressive becauuse they can dominate distances FAR beyond the range they can actually shoot (shotgun apes), and there is practically no downside to using them as a primary weapon. , because primaries don't kill fast enough to enforce any sort of meaningful range penalty (IOW, If I hve a shotgun....and you have a primary and aren't in a spot where you can backpedal? You're not a threat that I have to show any respect for.)

1 답변My solution would be to drop special down to 1 at spawn and disable scavengers. You get on good shot and maybe then you can buff special weapons so you have to decide should I ape or use it for defense. It is called a special weapon, it should be powerful and be used for special occasions.

2 답변The Statsis Mains were right. Barely a day and you're crying over something else... Granted special weapons are annoying but I rather them be usable in PVP than that hot mess of a special economy in Destiny 1.

2 답변Imagine someone charging you with both felwinter and astral
Only exception should be double special
that’s a big no for me, PvP wise.

2 답변
Only exception is running double special weapons.
You'll be seeing doubles then. I really think we ought to go back to crates, then quantities can actually be manipulated. Right now you're just playing a freaking party game and it's ridiculous.

This was a modifier called juggler and it's active in PvE to an extent, the only change is heavy bricks can and will drop from heavy kills. The same goes for special and primary where as the modifier in its true form this wouldn't happen you had to keep switching weapons. Im guessing you're talking PvP but this wont do much to the sliding shotgunner he also has crimson/ steady hand to out gun anyone dumb enough not to use the crutch weapons. Perhaps something like whats on some of the armour mods would be more suitable where ammo only drops for your team mates on special weapon kills.
