Who else is willing to support the Eliskni?
Even if is means shooting citizens of the last city but not killing unless in self defense.
Please put your thoughts below, I know I would shoot people if neccessary and I would also use Light and Dark to prove my point. I wouldn't kill unless in self defense.

15 답변I have ZERO problems with what Crow did.... ...Oh, and Glynt? He was serious. What the Light stands for---at the end of the day---is what the Halo Universe refers to as "The Mantle (of Responsibility)". The Mantle is the obligation to promote, preserve, defend, conserve and protect....LIFE. In all of its forms. Part of that Mantle means being willing to CULL those forms of life that are wantonly destructive and a threat to the survival of of lots of other forms of life. So, yes. I stand by what Crow did. He was acting as a true Lightbearer, and was prepared to DEFEND the sanctity of Eliksni life from those who may have been "touched" by the Light (City Dwellers) but were acting out of pure DARKNESS (Hatred and Fear). If invoking the Mantle doesn't speak to you. Then look at it this way. The Crow stopped an act of terrorism. Its one thing to kill something or someone that is presenting an immediate danger to your own life (combat, a predator trying to hunt and kill you). Its quite another thing to murder someone else....or to use violence whose goal is to bully and intimidate someone else...simply because you know no other way to deal with your hatred and fear. The humans Crow stopped were bigoted hyporcrits who were no better than the Fallen they claimed to hate, and it shows the depths that people can sink to when they abandon principles for tribalism (my people are right no matter what, and whatever we do that benefits my group is justifiable) and lose their moral compass.

I am completely besides myself as to why House Light being our Allies is a big deal. Did we not just invite the race that we've been in a legit war with for 4 or 5 years after they bombed and slaughtered our civilians? (cabal) I get we haven't had the same conflict with the cabal as the eliksni, but I'm surprised civilian aliens was where the city drew the line on comfort after their greatest general and current leader was almost assassinated during peace talks, by, you guessed it the people we were making peace with. (I am aware that it was a seperate entity from the main cabal force that enacted the assassination, but regardless of their affiliation, the city would be more likely to see them all as the cabal) I am loving the narrative this season, but all the xenophobia coming after last season really feels out of place to me. Like, would the city be fine with a hive alliance because they only murdered the majority of guardians we had during the Great Disaster? Hive haven't done very much to civilians so its fine. (I know there's no proposed treaty with the hive but I was hoping they'd make for a good analogy here) I understand that we've had beef with the majority of the houses of the eliksni but geez, it seems so petty where we are in the world and story.

4 답변as i always say “there are saints and sinners on both sides of the war” i want the eliksni and humanity to get along. we’re gonna need allies for the darkness to come...

Ok if you don't want to support the Eliskni please put your thoughts elsewhere I made this forum post for only those who will support the Eliksni, a guardian already used stasis to prove a point, so with that said. Another guardian proving a point like this is not out of the question, The Vanguard should just bite the bullet and put an end to this division.

1 답변Well bungie better figure something out, we are becoming friends with all our enemies. We have a truce with the cabal yet I'm still fighting cabal. we are at war with some of the fallen. We are running out of enemies to fight.

1 답변Anyone who would be willing to push the deceased Fathers crimes on to his innocent child, are the real Jerks here.

2 답변I as a guardian I will do as I must. Those who are welcomed into the city will be protected and those who wish to join us should also be allowed even if its God damn good vex or hive. Tho the idea of a good vex is kinda impossible. I would not wish to kill any human that wishes to harm the fallen or vice versa (if they wish to be apart of the last city). I think they should be put on trial for their crimes however if a civil war were to emerge I would put down any individual that would harm the innocent.

1 답변Nope! I’ll gladly switch teams and join the Hive however! They’d make the right decision if the fallen asked to become allies... see page number 24 of the Oryx play book.

6 답변The House of Light will betray us that's how the expansion Light Fall starts, the smallen will be the first to turn, they are tiny little assassins that take out the ankles and then work their way up to the jugular. Never turn your back to the little ones. /s

24 답변Stow that nonsense, remember that you're a Guardian first. Your loyalty is to this city and it's people. The squabbles of our citizens are beneath us, we're not constables. Not vigilantes. Leave the local issues to the city guard and FOTC.

Put yourself in the city’s perspective. They are currently going through a crisis where supplies are drawn thin with no sun for week while transmissions and data are being corrupted. Meanwhile a group of aliens from the same race that have raided and slaughtered humanity for centuries are setting up camp in the last city. I’m fairly sure not many people would immediately start celebrating with open arms. Tbh the story right now with the division of the city is quite realistic.

2 답변Eliksni, cause House Light has NEVER raised arms against us. And it’s clear in the new cutscene that humanity started it. Thanks Saint, you started a never ending war...

3 답변I promised safe haven. They our guests, under my protection. They would have it. I am not looking forward to the content coming out over the next weeks. For the storyline is going to be enforced, and not the actions what would be considered that we as guardians would take. Your guardian is not just any guardian. You are the guardian that is probably the most well known in the last few years, having a hand in every victory the city has achieved. One broadcast from you, simplely you have a deal with the fallen for protection would hold ALOT of weight in the minds of the citzens of the city

5 답변Screw the fallen, saint had the right mindset - crush them. I will not forget what the fallen have done to humanity.

The Eliksni have been my favorite enemy race since the first captain sighting in D1 when our guardian first came to be. They are just so cool looking and their society is so interestingly managed with houses, ranks, and even de-rankings. I was so interested in the Enemy of my Enemy mission on Titan, being spared by Mithrax, and even the Zero Hour mission. All and all, I fully support Mithrax, the House of Light, and all other Eliksni who wish to work with us. Lakshmi will catch all three of my guardians’ hands if she even dares to harm them.

I support Variks and house of Wolves within the Reef and those loyal to the Queen of the Reef. I also support Spider and his crime syndicate. I sided with Drifter, and I am ok with breaking Vanguard policy, even if to support an alien who was once an enemy but now an ally, House of Light is our friends and receive my full support.

Ultimately while I wouldn't employ force unless absolutely necessary I do stand with the Eliksni. There is not binary choice of loyalty to the city and it's people and the newest migrants. Granted the people didn't ask for it and support it... but public opinion doesn't always follow what is ethically right. Protecting the people from harming the Eliksni and making murderers of themselves seems of great import to me as a Guardian. Moreover, I don't work for the Vanguard or the City. They are useful contacts and safe havens. My role as guardian is to do good and consider the happiness of all. Idealistic, yes. Naive, no. The Eliksni are ni different than us, no less deserving of safety and succour, no less deserving of respect for their inherent person-ness. I'm not human and the people of the city never asked for my presence within the walls... yet here I am. Ikora did right by a people in need. That's all I need to know to help. Consequences be damned, intent is what matters.
