The toxicity of lfg VoG teams
It’s bad enough the changes they made with the oracles but the toxicity and elitism of people in these lfg groups is unbelievable. My clan was short 2 guys so we ended up using lfg and found some people to fill the spots. These 2 guys said they had an Atheon checkpoint and ask if we could start there and they’d help us with the beginning parts after so we agreed.
Now this was our very first time in the raid learning everything and these guys had already played and made it to Atheon. So we start and their we a few mistakes but after a while we were getting the hang of stuff. All of a sudden these guys say um I don’t think we will get this done the damage isn’t enough. Now these guys were putting out similar to less damage than everyone else and were making mistakes as well. They just continued to be negative and no longer wanted to help anymore. It’s just ridiculous how people just don’t have the patience anymore to figure out where the mistakes lie, correct it and keep pushing. They rather be negative, create tension and anxiety. People want to beat the raid just as badly as these elitist pricks. Thus why raid should’ve stayed the same as it was in D1 and challenge mode should’ve had the changes.

4 답변That's just LFG in general. 90% of players are idiots who can't hold a gun the right way round, 8% are tired of dealing with the sheer amount of completed idiots, which leaves the remaining 2% of decent players having to deal with those idiots and the toxic 8% who have no patience for anything. LFG is cancer. Find a raid group to play with and your Destiny experience will skyrocket.

Everyone gives the same DPS, everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Especially the early days of a new raid encounter. But a lot behave like jerks and claim to be better than all the rest when they just really perform just as the rest! I've never seen gamers have bigger Egos! Even some guys who pretend to make games have it. Sleeping while their character is being leveled up by somebody else, then claim it is a defining moment in their gaming life! Sleeping and leveling is a way to a defining moment! 😂😂😂 See the ego in that one?...😂😂😂 Community is toxic because game promotes Egos bigger than their balls! 😂😂😂 Logic! (By the way, buy your Raid jackets!) ☝😂😂😂

What you are referring to is the toxicity of the Destiny community. That is no fault of the raid mechanics or difficulty. So I really don't see how changing the mechanics will all of a sudden fix that problem. I have had my fair share of LFG jerks. Yes, it sucks. I used to do a little bit of sherpa back in D1 before I had 5 people to raid with. But there are plenty of people out there who aren't like the guys you played with. And frankly, Bungie shouldn't design their game around that instance. It lowers the quality of the content for everyone else.

I haven't even been able to do the raid yet. Though every attempt at finding randoms to run has been disgusting, 95% are toxic/elitists. I am just going to wait for more of my clan members to be available and run lol.
