Cerberus +1 needs a buff
In PvE, it is a complete waste of an exotic (maybe give it all 3 champion mods?), and in PvP it is outclassed completely by shotguns

1 답변Also side note. My roommate has a fascination with historical and modern day guns and he wants me to point two things out... On the Cerberus Plus 1... Multiple Different Size of Barrels, meaning different Calibers?? How if it comes from One Magazine? And two. Where is the Cartridge Ejector? When you fire a bulletz you have to Eject the Cartridge, normally the OTHER side of the Gun from where u have your face. However the Cerebus doesn't even have an Ejector Port, our gun is filled with old Cartridgrs..

I just don't care for its catalyst. I am perfectly comfortable accepting that I simply don't know or don't try to utilize its intended effect, but i really dislike slowing the fire rate down on an auto rifle like that.

They should scrap it and make the catalyst do something worth while like reload after kill tightens spread for higher damage potential on farther out targets. Its actually my favorite gun in the game and that trash catalyst feels like a slap in the face.

I feel like Cerberus is one of those call-backs to D1 Exotics that will never return, existing in place of Universal Remote in the same way that Merciless takes the place of Pocket Infinity, Riskrunner for Zhalo Supercell, Crimson for Red Death and so on.

agreee auto rifles i believe all need a buff .... my favorite type but diffentity not in the meta .... remember it is alll about right distance for the right auto rifle with that said they still being out class by most weapon types...i keep playing against the meta knowing that sniper handcannons, and a good player with a shotgun in hand going to win most of my one vs one... oh yes i said sniper handcannons cause that is what they really are....

A buff wouldn't hurt, but it's not a bad exotic. It just requires an unusual playstyle where you approach enemies from awkward/unexpected angles and use it as sort of like a close-midrange automatic shotgun in combination with your abilities to keep enemies at bay. Not every gun has to directly compete with top-of-the-line meta gear.

I’d say that there are probably other exotics in more dire need of help. Maybe they could screw around with damage numbers, but fundamentally, Cerberus is probably mostly going to be one of those guns you put on to screw around with an off meta build. I’ve heard it’s apparently deceptively powerful in PvP and you can get results with it in PvE, especially if you’re building for it.

Bungie keeps nerfing overused weapons and doesn't look at the whole picture. There are several exotics in my vault I haven't touch in several seasons. If some of those got some adjustments I might have a reason to use them more often. Cerberus+1 is a great looking gun, has a pretty cool animation switching between firing modes but under performs against weapons like Gnawing Hunger and Sweet Business. In the full auto shotgun mode it doesn't do enough damage to make it worth using instead of a primary shotgun. The versatile design is great but it definitely needs a buff.
