First off this isnt about bungie and the comments towards stasis and pvp and all that stuff, I do think that the criticisms there are valid and even some of the frustration
What I’m talking about is being nicer to eachother as players like stop trying to start arguments with everyone on the forums if you dont like the game or someones take on it just leave it
In game can we knock the whole t-bagging thing on the head we’ve got emotes tbf
After match messaging. if you do this sorta stuff you’re toxic, why go out of your way to remind that blueberry with the .7 kd that he’s trash or moaning at someone using jotunn, there’s just no need
Tldr: we as players need to do better as toxicity is just as big an issue as stasis, pvp issues and anti cheat and contributes to a declining population in the playerbase it’s also the second biggest reason (after stasis) that nobody wants to play trials
Be kind guardians

5 답변While I completely agree with the messaging and general toxicity which are completely unwarranted, the t-bagging will NEVER stop. It's an FPS staple. Plus, if you slide around with a shotgun or use Jotunn you best believe I'm going to bag you. T-bagging isn't really considered a jerk move at this point, it's more akin to teasing by saying and those who take it offensively are probably stick stuck in the Halo days.

작성자: YATM 5/19/2021 3:41:00 PMI think it’s fair to blame a company that actively sells taunting emotes and encourages toxicity. Look at Call of Duty. The kill cam cuts off before the other person has a chance to teabag. call of duty also makes it difficult to access someone’s profile in order to send them a message after a game. Pretty sad when call of duty is doing a better job of controlling toxicity than destiny.

Absolutely right. Said this myself on several occasions. It’s no longer a witty comeback but sheer nastiness on the part of some people and it’s not called for. It’s a game. There should be banter of course but sheesh, some things I read are just too wild and unpleasant. I suck in PvP. I know that. I don’t need someone telling me I’m a useless f**king p**ck who should die. How about some encouragement?.

1 답변As optimistic as you are about it... it won't happen. Anonimity makes a lot of people EXTREMELY dumb when it comes to the level of salt they try to dish out.

5 답변작성자: LloydKrypton 5/19/2021 1:30:41 AMYeah. Ever since I have played this game I played with toxic people everytime and they told me I suck and that I am not powerfull enough and make fun of me for not having specific mods for strikes. That overall prevents me from doing raids and other fun stuff. I would love to finnish a raid from start to finnish but it won't ever happen. I STILL haven't been able to make a single -BLAMING- friend in this game and it makes me feel awful AND WHAT MAKES THIS WORSE IS THAT I PLAYED THIS GAME FOR A YEAR AND A HALF. Sometimes this game makes me feel worse about myself but I love this game still and I wish I could finally have fun in this game for -BLAMING- once.

There's some games that people won't even play anymore simply because of how toxic their communities have become. I don't want to see that happen here. I mean how hard is it to restrain yourself from immediately calling someone a crybaby every time they post criticism? I've noticed it's especially rampant when talking about PvP. Part of the problem is that bungie does nothing about the original antagonistic comments, but then bans anyone who gets upset. It's like they're encouraging the behavior.

1 답변작성자: Pyramid Head's Meat Socket 5/19/2021 8:20:25 AMNot saying this post is like the best ever but it's not bad either to remind people to be kinder to others honestly so IDK why people in the comments are being so mean for no reason, kinda proving OP's point.

1 답변Seriously?! If someone is being toxic towards you, it’s either A) you deserved it, man (woman) up, or B) you owned them and they are jealous, enjoy your victory!

I appreciate your optimism but the urge to one up someone else or people saying anything just to sound correct is like an online disease. I used to rage post a lot long ago and had to go back and read my posts to realize how stupid and obnoxious I sounded. After that I took a much needed break from D2 and now I try to do better on the forums and don’t take this game near as serious as I once did. Respect though because I agree with you. 💠🎮👍🏽✌🏽

It's a social issue, not a Destiny issue. As far as I'm concerned, it's parents not teaching their kids the proper way to behave. My mother taught me to be nice to my fellows, as I have taught my son. When you make money your God, how you behave doen't matter anymore.

작성자: Hulk 5/19/2021 12:25:50 PMI have received messages after PVP matches to go kill myself and other messages saying things like I am -blam!- and other vulgar language. If you receive messages like this you should report it through the platform your playing on and block the person. There is no excuse for someone saying this to you over a video game. I am an adult and thinking if these messages would have been sent to a child is terrifying. Bigger picture. Stop the person from continuing to send messages like this by reporting them. Sony sent messages to me back saying the person was banned/suspended. So it does work.

작성자: Evilman520 5/19/2021 11:11:17 AM
In game can we knock the whole t-bagging thing on the head we’ve got emotes
Teabagging is a time-honored tradition from Halo, and does not always mean something bad. It's a universal means of communication. If anything, the emotes are more offensive than teabagging.
