Not everyone goes on Twitter
Why is it when somthing is wrong you just post it on twitter. This is literally your own forums designed for your game. Yet it took other players to state that the lost sector was bugged instead of idk the community managers?
Edit: so theres another bug for iron banner not dropping the shotgun or machine gun from engrams. Yet there is no post on their official forums at all about it. GG bungie

let's look at destiny as a franchise: 1) You cannot communicate with other players in game, have to go somewhere else 2) You cannot see where Xur is, gotta go somewhere else 3) You cannot LFG in game, gotta go somewhere else 4) You cannot manage your vault from orbit or anywhere else in game except tower, once again have to go somewhere else to do it See the pattern here? Things that should happen in game or bungie's official site do not exist, so we have no other recourse than go to third party apps and crap like that

1 답변It's not so much that it's on Twitter. It's more so the fact it ISN'T on here. They set up an official website for discussion of the game. And then don't post important info directly related to game play on that site. It's asinine.

Yeah I don't use Twitter. I'd rather stick my head in a gas fire. I stick around here usually to see what is going on with Destiny and the such. TBH things really haven't changed with Bungie not communicating on here and instead using outside platforms. It's been like that for years.

12 답변100% this pisses me off so much. Why use a secondary platform to communicate when you have a dedicated official platform. It makes no sense. I miss a lot of stuff cause the bulk of it goes on Twitter and I'm not using that garbage. All in all bungies communication with the community is just piss poor, one of the worst in the industry, and they should give their head a shake.

2 답변The fact that the game and devs and community managers don’t even communicate ON THEIR OWN FORUM is insulting at best. Need info, go look at Cozmo or DMG to post about it (except when DMG blocks you like a child for insulting his bread meme 😂)

1 답변I really don't understand how it doesn't just get posted in game Like have them readable in game by clicking on the Version button on character select or by the credit button in director. Shouldn't be difficult to pull off.

It’s the site/forums are the official place for information about the game Bungie, please use it.

OH NO that seems way to simple or effective. Lets use Reddit, Twitter, Bungie.net and expect your players to troll them every day just to learn the status of the game. I've seen news mentioned in Division 2 and Borderlands.
