Idk what Bungie did other than the change to matchmaking a few weeks ago, but for the past two months control and clash and quickplay in general has been absolute garbage solo queuing. I have been up against stack after stack of three or more players on the enemy team for the past month and a half and I am sick and tired of it. What happened where this is the case Bungie??? What changed???? Iron banner solo que playlist is awesome. It is fantastic. WHY?! BECAUSE THERE ARE NO STUPID STACKS TEAMSHOTTING YOU TO DEATH EVERY SINGLE ENGAGEMENT. Please for the love of crucible either make a solo control/ clash que or change the matching to make solo players more likely to match solo players and stacks to match stacks. Control is horrible. Just for reference I play on Xbox, idk if it is different for pc or PlayStation atm.

There’s part of me that thinks latency differences from game to game is what might be causing schizophrenic results. One game 4-5 players on the losing team can’t scratch more than a .6 kda - the next these same players are 1.3 to 2.0. If you’re a split second behind what’s actually happening in game due to inconsistent latency with others in the lobby - you’ll lose every engagement while you opponents will rack easy kills not noticing anything is wrong. I wish we’d get away from peer to peer networking to at least take some of the inconsistency off the table.

3 답변Bungie, Iron Banner sucks. It’s bad...really bad. PVP is NOT fun. It makes a guy want to vomit & never play it again. There’s been plenty of feed back on the state of PVP already. I have no problem with the quest line...it’s just all the nonsense in game play that makes it no fun to play. It’s no fun when your on either side of mercy. 16 답변It’s been like this since they removed SBMM .. The sweats purposely stack in quickplay of 4 to 6 just to stomp the weaker opponents and boost their KD ... This is known as stat padding in many other games and is banned yet Bungie thinks the removal of SBMM and allowing sweats to stomp is perfectly fine.. The declining player numbers month after month especially in PvP prove just how toxic crucible and PvP generally has become ..

Every match I go into feels like a sweaty tournament. I’m not the best, but I’m also not the worst and can put up a good challenge. I don’t want to go into clash/control for a challenge, I go there to mess around with a random weapon I just got and to have fun, not to go up against a six stack of control tryhards.

And it failed so miserably they had to revert back to the algorithm that’s running now. And what you’re feeling in Control is the broken lobby balancing algorithm at work. And yes it’s bad. It’s so bad I’ve just started to leave games because of it. If bungie pairs me up w/ 5 Bad players who can’t leave the spawn…. I dip. I used to blame the players. But it’s not their fault. 2 답변See mistake 1 was thinking bungie ever knew how to make pvp fun (Halo PvP sucked, come at me). It was bad in D1, was better in D2 Y1 until y'all moaned about the weapon loadout thing, and then went back to being bad anew. But I do feel your pain on the team stacking, all of the pvp i've done so far after returning have been horrid defeats. Good thing the PvE is on point

1 답변Yeah. Every mode (being they’re so limited ) needs a freelance option. Don’t want to play against the virgin squad, 6 stacking on a Wednesday night sweating it out like they’re trying to go flawless. It’s pathetic.

7 답변At this point it looks like pvp is being phased out of the game imo. Either move on and accept it or continue to play, get mad, and complain. Pvp isnt getting fixed.

Dropped into a laggy slaughter against a clan 5 stack...big Nope...Back to orbit. Did some inventory management, entered the cue again...dropped back in against the same clan again, not sure if it was the same game or not, doesn’t matter, nopped out again. Waited a few minutes and tried again, dropped into a game WITH THE SAME STACK!!!! This time I was on their team, but still shit as I hate being on a pub stomping team just a smidge less then I hate being pub stomped. Just awful matchmaking. Are there seriously only 10 people playing this game at a time now or does bungie think it’s really important that I play with/against this clan?

Destiny 2 pvp has been on a spiral downfall since destiny 2's launch, everyone has forgotten how to PvP and duel in the crucible, team shooting is way too high you see about 4 players in every match always sticking together and camping in the back with 120s or longer-range weapons then freezing everyone with coldsnaps and rushing with shotguns, this is especially rampant right now with the release of weapons like the new 540 Pulse that takes no skill what so ever but allows for fast easy and over powered kills. Snipers take too much flinch also so I cant do anything about the team shooting cause 1 stray bullet ruins my scope.

PvP is in a really bad place right now. Control is in an even worse state because there is no reason for teams to cap. The people that are just looking for KDR don't play the game mod to win since they win in their own mind if they get their kills. But sitting on a cap is a bad place since you are confined to a spot, so it also doesn't encourage people to do so.

1 답변Control should be 4v4. Iron Banner can keep 6v6 to have a more separate identity. I thought I was improving but most IB matches in getting stomped on. Maybe I can't aim Thorn and I don't have the reflexes to be effective with a shotgun.

1 답변Also the fact of how stupidly designed this control point system works. You shouldn't get more points per kill the more flags you have. That's why there's so much mercy ruling that happens. No other game with a dominantion gamemode works like that. For example Battlefield the more flags you have the faster you drain the enemy tickets but it doesnt drain more from kills based on how many flags you have

Cant spawn without spawn killed. cant move 2 feet forward 1 tapped. cant get super cuz cant get kills or stay alive , cant react to anything shotgun cuz shotgun ikr? lol.. cnt kill a gaurdian cuz hes lagging, or lag switchinh.. the list is so grand bungie jus need to end pvp and focus on pve let other games do a better job cuz they do not bungie
