Destiny is the only PVP game on the market that specifically targets casuals as stomp bait... most playing this PvP aren’t playing it because they want to - they are pve mains jumping in for loot or quests - that makes every PvP sweat stats useless when comparing to other PvP games...
All those stats are buffed against noobs, casuals and pve players getting weapons...
It’s an absolute joke...
If you think you’re great at Destiny PvP - you’re actually not - you’re stomping players that don’t want to be there...

No one is actively targeted, it's a present reality that the sandbox is 90% cheese and gameplay is inherently chaotic and/or sweaty. PvP is now one of those where its design is the ultimate problem for lesser skilled people, not matchmaking or whatever have you. Destiny is brutal, and it hasn't been for its own benefit.

As long as Destinys PVP is the way it is, it will never be a monitizable E-Sport. and they seem to have accepted that by just gouging whales for everything they can and moving artistic content to the (NAME REDACTED).

That’s kind of true. Destiny is not as popular though, considering the streamers yelling sbmm kills games. Last time I checked , the most popular pvp games in the world has not just sbmm but strict sbmm. So destiny without it is a total failure, the pve guys inflate the numbers, so people will say “ but 600k players, ya da ya da” The solution is for new players or those against unbalanced lobbies, just stop playing pvp.
