If this is permeant, it is a joke. Just vault DSC if you are going to remove any real incentive to play it. Spoils and a shot at eyes is not a real incentive. Last Wish and GoS have been practically dead to me since Beyond Light dropped. This is extremely disappointing. I was looking forward to having VoG AND DSC to run for meaningful rewards.
You are throttling fun and incentive just to make the power cap decrease seem meaningful. Inch worming our way 0.5 or 1 power at a time up the totem is not fun. I'm really disappointed. Old raids like last wish used to keep dropping pinnacles even after new raids came out. Please return to that. At the very least we should be able to have two pinnacle source raids.
Edit: apparently secret chest no longer award spoiles, and the number of spoiles awarded per encounter is decreased. If this is all a big prank it's hilarious bungie.
Edit 2: a good "compromise" I have seen: let non current raids at the very least drop pinnacles from boss encounter.

Bungie: DSC is now considered a “Legacy Raid”. We’ve only moved the power cap up 10 levels. we want it to make it a little more difficult. We removed the pinnacle from that “Legacy Raid” only to give you the OG “Legacy Raid!” ~ Bungie Logic

1 답변It doesn’t even work? I get a pinnacle drop at 1310 when I have a 1311 equipped on same armour?? It’s a bad system....THAT DOESN’T EVEN WORK!

2 답변I have said before in other threads and subjects and will say again: There is no excuse that upgrades can’t drop from every activity. Leveling is a chore that we do not need. This reliance on said chore as ‘content’ needs to stop. I am extremely grateful the seasonal goalpost only moves 10 points, but upgrades some come from all activities at least once a week. All. Activities. Blind Well, every raid, strikes, nightfalls, crucible, each active seasonal activity, etc. they want us out in the world, make the world a place that has incentive.

No. This is how it has to be. They only have one raid five pinnacle rewards so people run the other raids a lot less. Then when they vault the raids they can say “well nobody was playing those raids.” Ultimately they just need to start setting up for us to take the blame early 😂

2 답변Reminds me of D1 Y1 when Crota took over from VoG and then PoE took over from both. At least the guns are relevant this time lol I'd wager that at least part of this decision is made to mollify non-raiders. God forbid pinnacle activities reward pinnacle gear, the solo's wont stand for that 😂

2 답변They have already acknowledged that the raid says it drops pinnacles but dosent already.
-
They are taking a raid that requires you to pay for an expansion to play the raid, and are moving it over so that free to play players can get the same amount of pinnacles every week. Not a bad deal in my opinion. And yes while it gives us a reason not to go back to DSC more often, we still get dope weapons.

29 답변Ok and why are you crying? We’re getting a new raid next week that gives pinnacles. Plus we have tons of other pinnacle resources There’s a lot of things wrong with destiny but this isn’t one of them

Agreed. All raids and dungeons should drop pinnacles. By making it so they don’t they are sunsetting their own content. One can argue you can still run it but that does not acknowledge that the community does not run end game content that does not drop pinnacles. Not hard to look in the app and see what people are looking for teams on.

14 답변작성자: CliffClipper 5/16/2021 1:55:11 AMI said it once and i’m gonna say it again no matter how much toxicity I got in my last post about it. VoG should only be for paid player! It should be either accesible because you have beyond light or the season idgaf. If Bungie wants to take spoils and pinnacles from DSC this is what should’ve been done. They’re rendering the value of paid players and slapping us in the face. Meanwhile now F2P literally get everything... and before someone says F2P players had raids in the past yes they did but those raids didn’t have pinnacle drops! The only reason you would run those raids are for the raid exotics and fun. Not for gear or weapons bc they all got sunset. Also before someone says F2P doesn’t get everything yes they do. They have access to every form of endgame content! GM Nightfalls (if they grind tf out of F2P and reach the req light level) Trials (cheaters everywhere), Iron Banner, Dungeons, and now a Raid with pinnacle rewards. Only thing they don’t have access to is stasis subclasses, exotics from previous expansions, and some destinations like the moon, and dreaming city, but let’s be real who tf even goes there anymore and who tf would pay 30 bucks for the previous expansions that only get you 2-3 useful exotics. Edit: Also technically for all previous exotics in the previous expansion yea I just realized they don’t even have to buy the expansion they can grind out a golf ball and exotic cypher from Xur and get it from the kiosk...

2 답변Another compromise I have seen is to let the non-current raids (DSC, Last Wish, Garden of Salvation) be set on a weekly rotation. Each week a different one drops pinnacles from all encounters. This would mean that there would be two raids available for pinnacles each week: whatever the newest raid is and whatever older raid is in rotation. While I would be ok with this compromise, I hate the fact that a raid that hasn’t even been out for a year (DSC) is already being shoved to the side. I’m starting to feel that Bungie is being very stingy with pinnacle power items. It feels that there are very few opportunities to earn pinnacles this week, and that those pinnacles tend to drop at or only one point above my current gear level. It’s like we’re back in season of the undying.

3 답변I’m sorry I don’t get the fuss. You can still get the weapons you want. So what if it’s not pinnacle? There’s already a replacement that goes live. They cut out the fact we have to grind 50 levels but we’re gonna complain about the pinnacle 10? The only thing I’ll give you is it kind of stinks waiting almost 2 weeks til the pinnacle replacement goes live. Probably when roadmap initially designed they figured we’d still be grinding 50 light and didn’t account for the loss when they changed that.

4 답변작성자: Ramirenzo 5/16/2021 10:35:13 AMIf every raid dropped pinnacles, we'd have +21 drops per character, per week. We already get 16 (with trials) or 18 (with iron banner) right now, not including presage which is bugged, expunge which isn't released, or any new exotic mission they release. Combine that with weapon swapping across characters and the reduction of the grind to max power to +10 levels, and there'd essentially be no grind to max. Should DSC still drop pinnacles? Yes. Should it drop them once VoG launches with its pinnacles? Probably not. Should all raids be unlocked for unlimited farming once pinnacles are removed? Yes.

They should just stop charging for expansions and put everything behind eververse if this is the way they want to go. On xbox its part of game pass and all you need to do is buy the season pass and off you go. It's sucks I know that those who pay like me subsidise F2P. Well some advice. Just don't buy the expansions any more and save the money for the eververse store.

11 답변작성자: DuBChiri2 5/15/2021 4:35:40 PMWhile I do agree that it not offering powerful rewards is stupid...the point of the raid is the rewards itself, not just the arbitrary power you gain as a result of completing it. The fun IS the activity and the actual rewards you get for completing it. Heritage doesn't become useless and boring just because it doesn't drop at 1320, nor does it dropping below that make the raid overall useless. Garden of salvation and last wish are a little different because of how much older they are, but their rewards still hold value for those who actively seek it and THAT is the point of them still being around. "You are throttling fun and incentive just to make the power cap increase seem meaningful," except the purpose of the raid has ALWAYS been the activity and reward itself, the power is literally just a bonus incentive. You not caring about the legitimate reason the activity matters contradicts what you are saying should be fun. Grinding raids for power instead of the actual rewards is the boring part is it not? You aren't having more fun because heritage could drop at 1312 instead of 1300 are you? I'll clarify, I am NOT disagreeing with you saying that raids should offer powerful rewards, just that I find your reasoning behind the raids still being fun...ridiculous. I'm not gonna say I'd complete old raids without power incentive...but if I'm only grinding it for power that says a lot about power itself does it not? That we find activities fun only when it matters...even if it really doesn't add anything to being fun.

4 답변Yea I was a bit upset about that when I ran it and got no pinnacles as well as only 12 spoils. Wishing I would've saved a lot more rather than using them all each week trying to get an extended mag, reconstruction, vorpal sniper.

4 답변Even Presage doesn’t offer pinnacle anymore, but Harbinger does? They are extremely selective.

1 답변I read that it will be replaced by VOG. I was looking forward to DSC raid but no pinnacle means no point.
