Just a little tip for anyone hesitant about grinding Heir Apparent and its catalyst:
Crucible Contender cards can be completed in 2-3 games of Mayhem, which itself is a pretty quick mode. It’s a pretty easy and fun way to farm gold medals.

Shiro Chi check point in Last Wish works for me. You can place a flag for ammo. Kill enemies and either wipe or go to orbit and load back in on the check point. 20 minutes including the time to enter in the wish. Faster to wipe then to go to orbit like I did in the video You can even pick up the free raid chest for a shot at a good stat roll armor piece or God roll raid weapon.

1 답변I did nightfall cards in the beginning. I was wondering why everyone was saying guardian games was so hard. Each nightfall would complete 1 contender card easily. Then I tried the cards for everything else. It literally took me hours getting 3 crucible and gambit cards done.

Edit: I just realized your post is about the 2nd step of the quest. I'm just giving advice for the last step.

8 답변I completed the catalyst in a total of around 3 hours including shattered throne thrallway cp. Its really not difficult. I don't see why people are complaining about it.

3 답변Just go to the Thrallway in the Shattered Throne and complete it in 15-20 mins. It's where I do all my catalysts. OR Go to the Altars of Sorrow on the moon and complete it in about an hour.
