I'm a warlock main (ikr, ewww) but it really is annoying to see the other two classes easily outperforming Warlocks in not only PVE, but PVP. As a Warlock, our supposed specialty is throwing grenades and that being our damage (some may disagree). Even our exotics compared to the other two are not *as* good as theirs, of course some obvious few are not subject to this statement. But the amount of good/cool/unique exotics for us Warlocks are hardly visible! Not only is their a gap between our exotics, but our supers too! The main problem being Shade Binger and Nova Warp. Both are amazing and cool supers except for one problem... They both consume super energy before execution of certain attacks for their duration. This may be confusing to some, but what I mean is that whenever you use the primary attack of those two supers, it consumes energy which stops you from making follow ups. Shade binders primary fire takes multiple chunks of super energy per projectile, causing "us" to fail to make the shatter follow up. The Nova Warp takes energy when you *charge* the explosion rather than the detonation, causing you to waste the last of your super energy for a mere charge that does nothing... Thats all I have to type and I know this topic was not very well organized, but I wanted to make sure my thoughts were seen. And so here's my question "Do you think Warlocks should get mass exotic and super changes/buffs (if needed)?"... Oh and thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

작성자: Stormblade777 5/10/2021 11:05:02 PMI always thought since Nova Warp was one of the worst PvP supers in the game that it gets a buff like the Titan Striker, it causes an explosion on impact. It also uses a lot of super energy for each explosion. Another thought is that the class could always get the shift that occurs during the super. It would be like icarus dash on Voidwalker. Although Nova Warp can be one of the fastest and strongest supers in the game, but that is only with blink/Astrocyte Verse (very fun).

I’ve played titan exclusively since d1. I just created a warlock this season for the first time. Holy hell what have warlocks been complaining about? I’m converted. The classes and exotic armor is sooooooo much more dynamic then titan. Supers are amazing. Absolutely Love chaos reach nova bomb and Dawnblade. I’m so done with “slamming” and rinky-dink hammers. Abilities that are actually useful...Healing on demand! damage on demand! Being rewarded for investing in recovery, a stat that actually means something outside of not getting 3 tapped by thorn. Ranged melee! Had some of the most fun I have ever had in destiny when I slapped together nightfall build of chaos reach, mantle of battle harmony and risk runner. I literally became Zeus. All these years wasted as a titan.

13 답변Crack, you're smoking crack. Warlocks are great, go on LFG and all people want for GMs is Warlocks and Titans.

6 답변Warlock is my go to class for competitive pvp as well as solo/endgame content. I have no idea what you’re talking about. All classes need work, so let’s stop with the self pity.

Woe is me, my class is the weakest. The only people who say stuff like this are people who have not been around long enough to have considered each class their main. Every class has weak subclasses. Every class has weak exotics. Warlocks don't deserve special treatment over the other two, they all have issues that need addressing.

1 답변Lemme summarize this for those who don't understand and somehow getting a different message for this. The problem with Warlock is their post super consumption from Void Walk and Shade Binder. Never was it stated that they are bad whatsoever, it's just the fact damage is missed out because of when super energy is consumed. About Warlock exotics: I'll admit, they have some amazing exotics, BUT I just mentioning the fact that they are not as unique as some exotics- like the Titan exotic armor piece that turns you barricade into an oversheild... An actual Titan. Again, never did I mention Warlocks are bad, it's just that the other to have some pretty cool tricks up their sleeve in which some Warlock subclasses can't compare. So please, take this with a grain of salt and try to understand the read.

5 답변Warlock main here. I’m not gonna talk about PvE since I don’t really play it or care for it much. However, in PvP, warlocks are the best class in the game hands down. Top tree dawn and chaos reach are the best light subclasses in the game. You can also play bottom tree arc which is A tier, bottom tree void which is is A tier, and stasis which is also A tier. Warlocks also have amazing exotics for PvP. Transversives Steps is the best movement exotic over Stompees and Dunemarchers. Ophidians Aspect is S+ tier. Geo Mags are god tier with chaos reach. Karnstien is S tier. Warlocks are way over represented in tournaments as well. Every team play double warlock with a hunter or titan. Honestly if there wasn’t class restrictions I’m pretty sure every team would run triple warlock. Warlock movement is the best in the game, they’re the fastest class and once you master their movement the have way more potential than titan or hunter. Warlocks are hands down god tier, the problem is you have to spend time and have a certain degree of skill to play them at the highest level. Most people rather just play hunters because they “look cool” and are extremely easy and forgiving for beginners. Same with titans minus the look cool part.

작성자: michael 5/9/2021 4:06:39 PMI swear I have had to make the same reply a hundred times this week, but warlocks have nothing to complain about. Each class has one or two top tier PvP subclasses. Titan has behemoth and bottom striker, hunter has revenant and spectral blades, warlock has chaos reach and top dawn. Just because warlocks do not have as strong of a stasis subclass does not mean that they are hands down the worst subclass, especially considering that top dawn is pretty much a hard counter to stasis and that chaos reach is the best shutdown super in the game. Each class has one or two top tier endgame PvE options for GMs and such. Titans have top and middle sentinel, hunters have quiver tether and revenant, warlocks have well and chaos reach. Each of these has their own uses and are basically essential to most GMs, there is no argument for one being better or worse than the other. You need either well, ward or dawn, or banner shield as a defensive ability and you need either revenant, chaos reach, or tether for crowd control.

6 답변I think people keep either associating really skilled players with op class, or thinking that one time a warlock killed them with (name x exotic) means it’s super strong. Everyone always refers to dawn blade and chaos reach when talking op warlock supers and it’s not hard to see why. Problem is their usually thinking about the high tier players not the average. More or less the same with exotics, a guy manages a skilled play with warlock? People look up the exotic they used and suddenly it seems powerful. Aside from that the warlock meta weak or strong is stale as hell. We more or less haven’t changed much in meta for a long time and it makes people sick when bungie decides to add bandaid exotics.

6 답변As a hunter main, i disagree. Ya’ll guys are omega strong. Nova warp is your only bad thing, nothing else

My favorite PVE warlock build: Bottom tree devour void Blink Astrocyte verse The Lament Passive guard: DR 200% Protective light: DR 400% Warmind protection: DR 800% Melee damage resistance:DR 1120% Devour heals upon kill Healing rift is technically 1120% stronger The Lament, can block loads of damage, able to easily withstand stomps on GM level: DR up to +-4000% Astrocyte verse for quick in-and-out movement. Proving ground GM boss is a walk in the park. Cabal tanks get deleted
yeah, warlocks suck
10 답변Lol hunters are bad at PvE... There's literally no hunter solo GM without a cheese🤣 I always switch to my warlock when I want to PvE, they are the superior class

9 답변작성자: Unstoppable_Screeb 5/7/2021 2:08:16 PMAs a Warlock main myself my suggestion would be to not come on here crying about Warlocks when you don’t know how to play Warlock lol just makes you look silly. My honest opinion as someone who plays all three classes, Titans are the worst for end game PvE (GMs).

작성자: YATM 5/8/2021 12:48:39 AMWarlock is a thinking person’s class. If you understand the synergy between abilities and armor warlock can be very deadly. If you’re a potato it’s under powered. Some of the best players in PVP run warlock and they’re practically unstoppable. So stop whining and either get smart or run a hunter like me. Hunter has the best neutral game and is the easiest to master. Titan is somewhere in between hunter and warlock.
This thread is yet another example of the warlock persecution complex
4 답변작성자: Deadlocked21 5/7/2021 5:24:36 AMOk lets see if I’ve got this straight. You have the single strongest PvE subclass ever made in both destiny games with Well of Radiance, you have the two strongest light subclasses in PvP with Top Tree Dawnblade and Chaos Reach, you have a strong stasis subclass that can now hang pretty well with behemoth and revenant, and you’re COMPLAINING??? Edit; literally the one and only problem with warlocks in PvE is that their glide is really bad for jump puzzles. That is THE ONLY bad thing about them in PvE. As a hunter main, who also plays titan and warlock from time to time, hunters are a -blam!-ing joke in PvE by comparison.
