I can't remember a time when the crucible felt truly balanced and diverse. Now its just aggressive frame hand cannons and aggressive frame shotguns everywhere. Seriously its like you can't use anything else if you want to play just for fun. I feel like I can't work on catalysts like Suros or MIDA without being absolutely shit on by some titan doing a Cryoclasm slide down a hallway while shooting Felwinters Lie. Or a hunter throwing a Withering Blade at a wall, having it bounce two or three times and then slow you making it an easy kill with their Steady Hand. And I'm of the opinion that stasis as a whole isn't an issue in Crucible. But the slow mechanic sees you losing gunfights 8-9 times out of 10. Titans have the most insane movement capability of any class - I remember when top tree Dawnblade was introduced and Icarus Dash caused an uproar because of how fast players could move in super. But Behemoth titans have cryoclasm and shiver strike; they can close gaps instantly from a standstill and if you happen to survive, you're slowed and basically already dead.
And weapons - there's few primary weapons that can duel or even compete with aggressive hand cannons even in that weapon's optimal range. Likewise with special weapons and aggressive shotguns. Fusion rifles are a joke nowadays. Sniper rifles have a chance but get flinched hard by hand cannons. What's the point of playing crucie anymore if this is all it is?

1 답변작성자: TheArtist 5/4/2021 1:01:05 PMI've never been a fan of how Bungie has managed the sandbox in this game. The game has always had rigid metas in PVP. Primaries have always been underpowered relative to the speed player movement which allows people to just run at you with shotguns and sidearms with reckless abandon and few consequences. I'm even starting to grow tired of their need to micromanage player loadouts in PVE. Instead of being a mechanic to freshen up play, Champions have simply been used as an underhanded way of controlling (and limiting) player loadouts. While Bungie just keeps handing us the same fights over and over again. But the real issue in Crucible right now isn't stasis or the sandbox.....its matchmaking. The mercy rate on matches is just out of control....and going from one blowout match to another because of CBMM is not competitive...and not my idea of fun. The sandbox compounds the problem by making an already unenjoyable experience even less enjoyable because the game is one-dimensional. Mob up. team shoot. Roll around the map as a mob if you're playing Control. Collapse back into the smallest space on the map if you're playing Clash. Spam OHK special weapons and abilities until you cant....then fall back to team shooting. Rinse and Repeat. It is truly sad, what PVP in this game has been allowed to become over the last two years.

1 답변It’s just hunters on console man, delete their class for a season and pvp would be wonderful

1 답변Agree. Actively unenjoyable now. Add in comically bad story telling: The darkness is here! Savathuun is the big enemy! Actually Sivu Arath! Actually Cabal, forget those others, Cabal I tell you! Forget all them, the Vex again! and it is time to play other games and come back if and when they sort themselves out.

It was never meant to be balanced. Ive felt this way before, just dont go into it thinking you're "Good". Or someone is "better". There's too much cheese in the game. Play for fun. Just play with a clear mind, dont let yourself get tilted.

Well now hang on moment it was actually kind of fun in destiny 1, it felt good to be an actual gun fight instead of facing hunters that dodge for health, people who insta freeze you and then shotgun and it was good not to get solo super just so he can protect his one kill streak. Although on that last one it is fun coming back and supering him knowing that he could have used his to stop me from killing his team.
