I have both a question and a suggestion for how this is could handled better, unfortunately I'm not in the position to really test this so first i will ask the community for help. for those who got the Head or Arms Exotics, before this season specifically, do they now drop as part of nightfalls/world drops? If lets say, last season you got Mask of Bakris, has it dropped for anyone as part of the season of the chosen Nighfall completion rewards? (or any other helmet or gloves) I have heard from a few people that it is possible, that after you acquire it it will be put in the World Pool in the following season. But I don't have any Video proof of it dropping and unfortunately I don't have the time to really test this in any way. (other than doing my nightfalls every week and here and there when i can) My suggestion to Bungie is to do this for real. There is no reason to lock these exotics behind a challenging solo activity. I am 100% okay with the FIRST drop being locked in a Lost sector, but after that it should go into the world pool. This way feels more like how the Story exotics were introduced but improved on. (for those who want a challenge) The story exotics like Assassins Cowl are locked behind an activity, then put into the world pool. These exotics should be locked as well, but not forever. Waiting an entire season after you get your very first drop from a Lost sector, seems like a long enough wait to not upset anyone. But at the same time, releasing them into the world pool makes getting exotics actually exciting again in nightfalls and other activities. Also after the entire year is over, give them to Xur, but only in the random roll engram. (I'm talking about witch queen levels of in the future) He is still lack luster at best with the trash rolls he sells, and at least for casual players this will give them a reason to see him. (even if they don't care about there stat rolls) and for goodness sake put some drop protection in these lost sectors. I have only gotten 5 exotics form them this entire time, and only 1 was a new exotic the rest were D2Y1 stuff that I already farmed out when the leviathan was around. People should be embarrassed that this process is so messy and not well thought out.
