This is sunsetting levels of terrible. 300 bright dust for shaders like midnight talons and watermelon. Transmog capped at 10 pieces per season. I’m surprised you didn’t think to charge an extra dollar every time someone logs into their account. Not only are these “ideas” inappropriate given how pissed people were when you rolled out your last million dollar “game’s gotta game” idea
sunsetting shudders
you’ve not only rolled out a brand new terrible idea, you presented it with such gusto it almost feels like you think it’s a good idea. No one likes cosmetics being controlled like this. They have zero affect on gameplay. They’re not prime drops or pinnacle drops, they’re functionally identical butt towels and superhero capes that go whooshie whooshie in the wind. Please. In the name of the future of destiny. Listen to the community on this one.

The fact that it’s cosmetic is the point!!! One could argue that it has no impact on the game...therefore your concerns are silly. Don’t worry, they’ll walk back their decision in another season or 2 and claim that the community has spoken. Just hold off until then

2 답변It's time to bail. Y'all did this. I never wanted microtransactions. I wanted a videogame, not a cashshop. I'll pay for a game, but not microtransactions. You want this system? Then that's what they'll give you. Game has changed. They've made it into a mobile free to try version with microtransactions not associated with the game. I'm just here to play a game. This is not it. If you like it, stay and let them milk you. If you don't, it's time to bail. This game won't change, it's a Milking Cow. I also want transmog and shaders, but not like this. Let's bail. It's time to go.

It's 300 to buy the unlock. So you only have to spend that once per shader you don't have. They introduce 6 or so shaders a season? They make the changes to bright dust to limit the amount a player would have stock piled. They are a business. When they have plenty of players not buying anything with silver and instead just using bright dust, that's an issue for them. Also were the bright dust cost set before the collections were added? If so I'm surprised they haven't adjusted it before now.

1 답변“In the name of the future of destiny” Lmao Dude if you think cosmetics, and not content, is what the future of the franchise hangs on, you’re out of your mind. Or a over exaggerating loon.

111 답변작성자: TheArtist 4/22/2021 7:14:11 PMWithout a cap? This is what happens to the game: 1. I get one set of perfectly rolled, high stat armor. Since sunsetting is gone? I’m good for the foreseeable future. 2. All the other armor that gets created after that? I no longer have to care about the stats. I just get ONE PIECE of all the armor and then turn it into a universal ornament, that I can now put on that ONE perfectly rolled armor. 3. Congratulations. You’ve now just broken the game, and recreated the loot problems that nearly destroyed the game in vanilla D2. Because you’ve now destroyed all the value of new armor that isn’t cosmetic. Some times devs have to save us from ourselves and tell us “No!! You can’t have that”. Because giving us what we want in the short run will destroy our enjoyment of the game in the long run.

9 답변I dunno, it seems more like cosmetics are being opened up to me and not controlled...zero affect on gameplay, so I get to buy them if I want. Hmmm, not a bad system.
