Seriously... Anyone form year 1 of D2 should have noticed this by now.. it was a flop then and I have no interest now..
Just bring back Factions D1 style, I'd like to see exotic bonds

20 답변Factions were such a nice passive grind... Turning these things into events just burns us out.

2 답변Bungie- players don’t want factions let’s get rid of them Players- We want d1 factions Bungie- see they hate factions

4 답변It was a flop because Bungie has a real bad habit of thinking they know what's best for the player base, which in fact it's just them saying what's best for us. I mean they did such an excellent job knowing what the player base wanted that they almost lost the entire player base with the base game. Hmm, would actual communication help?

2 답변작성자: Ranthop_II 4/22/2021 5:05:02 PMFaction Rally didn't have a bad game loop, but the token payout wasn't balanced enough. The victory specific weapon as well as the exclusivity for anyone who picked the unpopular faction is the reason the event fundamentally flopped. Otherwise the rewards from the event were okay, but it didn't help that new weapons weren't more regularly shuffled into the vendors. Previous faction weapons could've trickled into the world loot pool, a year later, like they are now. While Guardian Games still suffers from a popularity contest, practically it isn't that much better. The chase is an exotic, its catalyst and bragging rights. There isn't even a new weapon to grind for fun. Festival of the Lost and The Dawning at least have their own unique weapons. The gameplay loop of Guardian Games, to earn gold and platinum medals, takes you in-and-out of core activities when players could be playing actual content. The bronze and silver medals were done right. To tie gold and platinum medals to how well you did in Crucible or what mode you played could easily have worked (explained in the spoiler). To earn a gold or platinum in Nightfalls would scale depending on the difficulty.
First place players, on each team, at the end of a match could get platinum while 2nd or 3rd place players would get gold depending on the game mode. Elimination or Rumble could reward gold medals while Trials of Osiris would still reward platinum for participation. You could have it one or both ways.
Bungie is just barely missing the mark for this event. Now if only they could figure out how to make bounties feel rewarding.

7 답변I was done with Guardian Games on Tuesday lol. So pointless and stupid. I'm also so disappointed in myself for even bothering to do a catalyst for a weapon I'll never use.

4 답변Its another Seasonal event for Bungie to stuff more micro transactions down our throats Shame they put the same about of work into there servers and the gameplay as the micro transactions. No hard raid but lots of armour sets and finishers to buy. Oh the armour sets can be brought with bright dust. but you cannot earn enough bright dust in a week across three characters to buy one set not even half a set.

3 답변It's actually worse, the loop is tedious AF, tower, strike, tower, strike, tower, strike, for blues and glimmer. The creativity is non existent.

Yet another boring event by bungie. Bungie ran off ideas years ago. They should turn off their server. Special thank to the loser that have implemented stasis into pvp. Please dont have stupid idea ever again. Also a special thank to those playing control ignoring the purpose of the flag and saying that they doing bounty or it is just quickplay or that I am in then last place in the score board(hey stupid the scoreboard is not even in real time, your first postion when your team loses mean shit, in fact it is because you in your imaginary world playing the wrong mode), people complaining at the end that my kd is bad when I was the only one taking the zone. Please go play another mode if you don’t understand control, and if your game play is with stasis and sliding shootgun go play rumble.

3 답변Yup I do remember faction rallies... Grinding for faction specific weapons, emblems and shaders was more fun. It gave everyone something to grind for in a sense. Events like this one give us what? An exotic many of us have. Ghosts many of us have. A new sparrow, and an exotic catalyst for said exotic....Not exactly much, unless you count that trophy 🏆 and "bragging rights" that turns into lots of toxic arguing about unfair rulings, as well as dunking on players that main other classes.

10 답변Factions in D1 were nothing but vendors of reskinned gear from the previous DLC. I seriously don’t get this dew-eyed nostalgia...

I think we could do more with factions in general keep D1 faction rank and reward system. Work them into the narrative though. FWC could have had missions revolving around preemptive strikes where they are trying to weaken the enemy/delay the war to give the tower/other factions time to prepare. Missions focused on killing high priority targets and commanders. Dead orbit Missions could have revolved around siege breaking (they have the biggest space fleet) and reconnaissance. Scouting for new places for humanity to flee if the traveller falls. Clearing those places of enemies to make it safe for humanity. New Monarchy dealing with threats to the city. Missions focused sieges/horde survival until you can counter and push the enemy back.

작성자: The Hermit IX 4/22/2021 5:23:12 AMOnce you have played it you most likely have anything that’s a motivator to replay it. Solo players that want the pinnacle drop get that and are done. Then you have to look at how outnumbered Warlocks and Titans are. It’s a poorly designed event with very little worth sinking the time in unless you’re a Hunter. I’d they want to do a class versus class olympics this isn’t the way to do it.
