Aggressive frame shotguns like Felwinters and Astral Horizon need more nerfs then just Quickdraw being taken away. A bigger penalty to accuracy for movements like sliding, jumping, etc. when using them should be added.
*Edited to clarify that movements like sliding and jumping should more heavily penalize accuracy.

2 답변Tbh I just don’t think aggressive shotguns should be a thing. That’s coming from a self proclaimed ape. I love shotgunning, but I won’t lie it’s pretty cheap lol. Make all aggressive frame shotguns into adaptive frame shotguns and reduce the 1 shot potential, and I think we’ll be about where we need to be. Precision frame shotguns are just about where I think the cap should be: They’re good, but it’s pretty luck of the draw on the 1 shot. And felwinters has the “shot package” archetype, and that’s just ridiculous lol. It needs to go man, it’s just too consistent

The meta isn't going to change much next season , except for scouts and pulses being able to compete better against 120 HCs , but people still going to ape with Felwinters Now if they nerfed shot package and opening shot, we might be getting somewhere

It is indeed a huge Nerf for Shotguns. I'm not worried about the fact it could not solve the problem of Shotgun Knights ecc. Eventually things shouldn't change after the nerf, Bungie will nerf them again like it happened in the past.

2 답변Get a primary dogwater. Hit your shots. It's so easy to bait a shotgun ape. Quick draw and all that needed no nerf. Yall are going to complain how slow yall are now when you mess up on your push and I'll laugh

2 답변There would be no point in sliding with your change which is a unnecessary recommendation. Quickdraw is a good nerf but that realistically only slows them down alittle and all you need is sprint grip and boom you have quickdraw as long as you sprint. A real nerf is the fire rate increase after a kill it allows for quick kills in succession which is bad. A fire rate nerf would bring them in line and make sense. Felwinters has too much effective range only rushers use quickdraw but slideshot and opening shot allows it to hit at dumb ranges. Felwinters is the last pinnacle weapon and it should have been nerfed or sunsetted shot package is just too powerful.

작성자: PrimalSurge5 4/16/2021 1:33:51 AMMight get a lot of hate for this but honestly they should just get rid of shotguns from crucible in general. Every single one of them. Cause what’s the point in nerfing a gun when another gun will take its place. So if fellwinter and astrial horizon gets nerfed hard a shotgun like first one in last one out takes there place then that gun gets nerfed hard and another gun takes its place. Rense and repeat. Plus I bet some people are getting tired of dealing with stasis titan with a OP shotgun with one eyed mask the whole time.

1 답변try taking stubborn oak from collections into crucible. it still slays. OP may have a point.

19 답변I strongly disagree. Removing quickdraw immediately makes the player have to make a choice between handling or range. They can no longer have both. And without handling, they either have to commit to their primary, commit to their shotty, or use a non-aggressive frame. Removing quickdraw makes the player have to make a choice, rather than the game making the choice for the player. Nerfing them directly for a FOURTH time would just be another case of the game making the choice for the player. This time, it would be to se another shotguns.

1 답변I'm not sure putting in a movement penalty is a good idea. Meta weapons will come and go but punishing player movement for using a certain type of weapon that hasn't had that penalty before feels wrong. Last thing I feel we need is making shotguns slower. While I doubt shotguns will ever not be viable in PvP, these changes to Astral and Felwinter's hopefully will be the first step in moving towards a new meta that hopefully will mix up the weapon pool in Crucible again.
