1. It is an exotic in the first place so it should have unique traits.
2. Its a scout rifle(scouts are very underused except a couple), and while shooting it from the hip there isnt any aim assist(thats what it feels like)
3. Its a tex mechanica weapon, chaperone has incredible range, last word has very good kill time and you are rewarded for using it from the hip, huckleberry speeds up and kills very quickly if used properly, prospector is good at tactical use and somewhat dps, fourth horsemen has really fast burst dps and dead mans tale has an chance to 2 tap if given the right conditions.
All tex mechanica weapons have a unique aspect to them compared to other foundries, veist, omolom, häkke... All that im trying to say is that its one of the few rare weapons that requires skill and presicion to use to be very good with it. For example, no land beyond was an iron sight sniper that rewarded players for being accurate, weapons like vigilance wing, messenger, crimson... can easily outgun dead mans tale due to the flinch those guns give to dead mans tale. Plzz dont nerf one of the weapons thats actually fun to use in pvp, not like other 120s, talking about you hand cannons.
If anything they should be thinking about buffing other weapons and not nerfing others to their level. Liner fusion rifles, fast firing fusion rifles, 180 rpm handcannons, 360 and 450 rpm auto rifles and a couple more need buffs in pvp. And sidenote, why isnt queenbreakers bow a special weapon already, it was one in d1 and arbalest is a special weapon.

The catalyst however. - single shot damage of a 120 HC, pest peek shooting in the game besides snipers - rpm / optimal ttk of a 150 HC, 0.8 seconds (that got them nerfed to 140s because they were oppressive to the primary sandbox coupled with the low hand cannon zoom) - headshot / bodyshot ratio of 2h1b on the optimal 0.8 second ttk = as forgiving as 120s and better than 150/140s - practically unlimited range from the hip, around 60-70 meters 3-tap (max range 120s with ADS "only" go to 50 meters) - ease of use from having the lowest possible zoom in the game (hipfire) - in-built third eye -perk (radar stays up all the time since dont need to ADS literally ever) - best strafe speed in the game since no ADS movement speed penalty - in-built 150 rpm 2-taps at 0.4 second ttk How is this not broken? Not cherrypicks either, that's every fight at any range both very close and very far. The reason it's not a blatant usage rate outlier is only because the hip fire no-zoom eDPI throws your aim off at first before you get used to it, plus many folks actually just dont bother with presage master. Goes to show that usage rates arent everything when sandbox balancing is considered.

2 답변Weird how many say it's so busted on PC. As a community people flock to whatever will get them the most (easier) kills. Yet 3 separate 120's had more kills than it during last weekends trials. Given just how busted, easy to use, free kills giving it is. You'd expect it to be outright top of the weekly kills chart. But it isn't. Strange that 🤔

Yeah the gun is mid on console which is where you and I are playing on. Im not taking this over a 140 HC, let alone a 120 HC. But the gun is actually broken on MnK. Imagine a Spare Rations that has insane magnetism and no bloom that can three tap you at 70 meters. Oh and by the way, you get all the benefits of active radar and faster strafing. The catalyst is what makes it broken not the actual gun itself.

90% of weapons are not op.. The aim assist or the body damage numbers are what create unbalanced scenarios. Ie meta. Saying that, the aim assist is through the roof on said weapon. When it gets adjusted.. and it will in or after season 14... you will see. They will most likely drop range per hip fire but keep the aim assist and drop aim assist while ads

I knew why you said that once you said Xbox. Hip fire is way easier on mouse and keyboard in general. It needs a little Last Word treatment. It and 120s could use some minor tone downs. Or other scouts and more than 3 pulses should be usable.

1 답변On PC where stability works differently, the catalyst gets a bit ridiculous when you can cross-map headshot people without having to aim that much. That is the EXACT OPPOSITE of "skill and precision". Once that is toned down just a little, DMT will be in a good place.

3 답변All the Jim dads saying it's not broken lmao. It's litterrally playing the game on easy mode sit back hip fire (I rarely use it and have dropped back to back 40 kill games). Don't worry Jim Bungie will double nerf it on mnk making it unusable on mnk and buff it on Controller just like The Last Word.
