Why nerf Lament again??!!
It was by far one of the coolest exotics you have realeased in a while and now for some reason you really dont want us using it. Bungie 90% of exotics in this game are useless trash and you are just adding more guns to that list. Its a sword which means that in most content using it for anything other than AD clear would mean getting one shotted and nuking its damage even more would make it drop quite a lot in usage. How about you start buffing trash exotics instead of destroying ones that are in an okay state.

I agree. But they don't want people getting to comfortable with any weapon (except anarchy). Nor do they focus on improving in game mechanics, like dying from landing a 3 foot jump. Too busy figuring out how to get community to shell out cash for useless junk. Or how to silence the cry babies by nerfing the crap out of good weapons.

Haven't people figured it out yet that [b]SOME[/b] nerfs happen so that an upcoming weapon will shine? Isn't that why Falling Guillotine got its initial nerf because Lament was coming out? Not saying all nerfs happen for that reason, but when it happens right before or when a new season starts it seems likely that's the case.

13 답변Lament is the best sword in terms of burst dps period. With or without the nerf the title remains. Stop complaining. The lament is not in an OK state. Most raid teams require you to have it. It’s another gjallahorn situation (not as bad but still). The usage will remain high because it still will be one of if not the best dps option IN THE GAME. Did u seriously call a wrong nerf because a weapon is cool!? Also all exotics are not trash. They are unique weapons (most of them) that require a certain skill set to use. Either the exotic is bad ( some are) or you are bad. The weapon is only as good as the person who uses it!

2 답변I love how Anarchy continues to skate by under the radar with Bungie lol it’s all I used to use until Lament came out. Which, I never took off Raze Lighter in D1 so of course I’d immediately pick Lament up as my main exotic. I hate to see it continually getting nerfed but I’m not even surprised anymore.

All other swords became invalidated when FG came out, and lament just made it worse.

5 답변There is nothing "cool" about Lament, especially the way you get it (via easy mission). It is OP just like FG. I mean c'mon, everyone mostly use only two swords one of them with fire element and other with void.

2 답변This is like the 3rd nerf lament has gotten, bungie needs to make other weapons viable instead of nerfing everything down into oblivion. LMG's have been useless for DPS forever. Linear fusion rifles are ok but not a top choice, standard fusions have been completely useless for like a year. sadly it doesn't matter how much people ask for other weapons to be viable because they just don't care, Only one weapon type can be remotely good according to bungie.

Then the only good strategy was to get up on the boss and risk getting stomped off the map or into a wall. So now they want to nerf our low range weapons... again, first Trench Barrel shotguns, then swords, and back again for another nerf. They cannot make a decision and stick with it. Over buff, over nerf Someone is behind the wheel of this crazy bus and it is fishtailing out of control from left to right.... one over-correct to the next. We are just sitting in the back holding on for dear life. I have an idea, make every exotic in this game viable and maybe the community will use more weapons. When there are only 1-2 viable weapons to use for boss... guess what we are using. Doesn't take a genius.

1 답변Because with Sword Ammo Finder, Sword Scavenger, Stronghold Exotic, Lucent Blade, a Bubble with 100 INT and Lament, you are unkillable . . . Trust me.

2 답변Bungie's ability to nerf only ends when a weapon or perk becomes unusable. Until that time, it is on their chopping block.
