“I don’t think we need any elaborate plans to get out.” Fie said. “Aifos said we’ll be allowed to go up top as soon as he makes sure it’s safe.”

“We aren’t allowed on the submarines yet.” Theta said. “The only facility capable of running repairs on us is down here, so we have to stay until we’re sure all out systems are running properly. We’re essentially in a test phase right now.”
-
“Oh, easy. I worked motorpool on Titans, I’ll be able to fix you, no problem!” Cobalt takes a look around for Aifos. “We’ll just have to ask Mr. President first. I think he trusts me, so he knows you’re in capable hands.”
-
You see Aifos relatively quickly, talking with some other guests, but Fie speaks up before you start heading towards him. “Are you trained in operating Seithr-based machinery? I’ve heard it’s a bit tricky compared to more conventional machines.”
-
“Oh, it’s fantastic! I’ve seen more fish here than I have in my whole life!” Cobalt shifts from a more casual tone, to a serious one. “Anyway, reason I came over. You’ve got androids down here, and they haven’t seen the surface. They’ve expressed a desire to do so, and I’m requesting permission to take them topside after this week is done.”
-
“We’re planning on getting them topside as soon as possible. We just have a few preparations, first; we have to make sure their personality cores are stable, and that their bodies are in working condition. We’ve also got to make sure reactivating them hasn’t caused any soul dissonance, and to make sure there’s nobody up there that might want to hurt them. A week would be ideal, but we can only give estimated times right now.”
-
“Oh, well... that’s actually the best response I could’ve heard, aside from ‘yeah, take em with you and leave right now.’” Cobalt gives a short chuckle at his joke. “Well, I’ll break the good news to them! They seem to think that they’re trapped down here, so this’ll be a relief to them! And, if you do need someone to help them adjust, or bodyguard them, I’d be honored.”
-
“Well, trchnically they are. It’s either that or to let them up there withba potenially dangerous malfunction, though. We’re just making sure it’s safe first. I told them the same I thing, so they should already know. I guess I can’t blame them if they feel a little down about it, though—I probably would too.”
-
“Well, I’m still not sure why he’s doing all of this, but I guess there’s nothing wrong with just taking the good news as it comes!” Fie said with a smile. “I guess so. I don’t see how the news changes much, though. You can’t even see the sun down here.” Theta said.
-
“Well, you can’t see the sun in space, either. I’d still rather be up there, though.” Cobalt claps his gloves together, making a muffle metallic flank. “Now then, are we going to sit around here and be pessimistic, or see what this city has to offer?”
