Unfortunately Destiny has been reworked from the ground up to endlessly sell you season passes and to promote eververse content. Almost every change they've made to the game where people claim they're "ignoring feedback" has been made to further monetize the game.
I recently jumped back in to beyond light, and I wasn't sure if I'd stick with it, so I didn't pick up the season pass. I'm still absolutely flawed by the sheer volume of content locked behind it, to the point where instead of making me want to buy it, I'm just sat here wondering what I actually got for the £40 I just dropped on the expansion? Bungie has a vested interest in making it as difficult as possible to obtain seasonal rewards after the fact, so that the next time that ad pops up to buy a season pass, you'll think twice before skipping, knowing what a horrendous grind it was last time you skipped. When I asked online about returning, I asked people if it was worth it as I like to collect exotics and I've missed a lot. People told me not to worry because everything was available through the kiosk, not one person mentioned to me that given the number of exotics I'd missed, this would be an insurmountable materials grind. Once again this is just another way for Bungie to claim this content is not locked to a season pass, because you can also unlock it via a colossal grind.
As a new returning player whose last good memories of the game were with Forsaken, this game feels like a freemium product now, only it's a freemium product players have dropped hundreds of dollars into. But now that they're giving the base game away, they get a free2play pass, and all that money we ploughed in is forgotten. Needless to say I'm not sticking around.

작성자: Curious Mando 3/28/2021 7:10:36 PMim happy to report short of someone tracking down and killing cheaters in crucible nothing will ever change and no anti cheat will ever be implemented by Bungo since its been almost a -blam!-ing decade and carry services still exist despite them being against TOS, Especially back when pinnacles were still around and were bragging about being in gangs like MS13 all over Xbox Live, making it unplayable especially under fabled rank. They do it for an ego boost and to purposely -blam!- with people. They deserve a boot up the ass. As for me? I quit. -blam!- them. -blam!- this game.

Season's pass is free with the new content ..... They aren't selling a season pass every 3 months ....they selling new content that has a free season pass that come with it....the pass could have been sold separately for 10$ each seasons....like every other game with a season pass

I seriously cannot understand your position here, the money you pay is not a long term investment with bungie, it is an exchange to play new content, bungie makes a return from your money and you get entertainment out of the product, if you haven't been playing for a while then don't expect to come on board and be handed missed content on a plate. I have been in since forsaken, I pay for new content each yr and a season pass, that is only a short term investment that guarantees a certain amount of new content, if bungie wishes to attract more players to the game by given the older content away for free then where is your problem, at least you can invest some time playing the game to see if you want to buy additional content locked behind a paywall, how many other games do that? ...more players keeps the game going as it is the number of players on line at any one time that allows for smooth and quick matching play, the exotics in the kiosk come from destinations no longer in the game but don't expect a free ride to get them, you don't even have to be a paid player to access some of them as the season progress bar has that crucial Cipher needed on the free to play progress section. If you follow the game throughout the yr you could potentially unlock 4 of them, also there are numerous opportunities in the free to play progress bar to open exotic engrams tuned to give you eotic armour that you haven't yet got, before you often ended up getting exotics you already dropped, additional engrams are behind the pay section too should you choose to pay. I also don't see you point about having to grind for certain things, that is the whole point of the game, earning that advantageous armour or weapon/catalyst should be a grind, the catalyst to Eriana's Vow only got a boost after reaching about level 22 on the season progress if you paid for the season it dropped, many grinded it long before that as I did to get it early just the same as you are now, complaining you missed last yrs benefits of playing the new content of the time is no one else's fault but your own, at least you can still get these things even if you missed that party, you didn't pay for that season as you were not here and yet you want the benefits for free associated with a boost that others had to pay for at the time... that ain't how it works.
