I don't think people would take the time to learn The Last Word honestly. It already does fantastically well in this meta. My overall K/D in Trials this last weekend with it was 2.0 over 120+ matches. Almost all my kills were from The Last Word. But that's the thing. I've been practicing on improving in Trials and with The Last Word for a while now. There is a massive difference between a bad Last Word user and a good one. Nobody wants to use it because it takes practice to learn its style. Gamers nowadays don't like to put in a lot of effort. As for Chaperone, well that thing is sticky. And with it's absurd OHK range, people would be much more inclined to learn it. I'm not super scared of The Last Word + icarus. But Chaperone + icarus? That terrifies me.

Arbalest is still busted, check out Frostbolts video of it after the "nerf". I've been seeing it more and more recently and ran into it about a half an hour ago and the gun is still hitting shots that it shouldn't.

If it gets a slight buff, like putting on icarus, it would be crazy. Hand cannons not only at long range, but short range two. It’s already like a sidearm. There is a reason so many people say this, because it will become a problem

Nahh, you're generalizing. 120's can touch up to 40 meters, but Last Word can't break 20. Icarus Grip won't change that. Plus if it were so broken then why don't you see crimil's dagger flyin' out the sky from between some guardian's butt cheeks to assault other guardians? Not even warlocks who can by default be out here tryina act like that

Do you get what I’m saying? Last word only has a little range, so people use 120s. If it has icarus, it would dominate in the 20 range area, and people would sacrifice the range to use it. People don’t use crimils dagger because there are newer 120s that are more exciting to use a play with

Crimils is in the #1 spot for top 5 used kinetic weapons right now my dude. Also Last Word has a 0.56 TTK while 120's with at least a 10% buff can two tap for a 0.5 TTK. 120's can easily have a better TTK than Last Word at double the range

What are you talking about? I know 120s have better range. Last word is just insane at close ranges, and would be even better at code ranges with icarus, so people would sacrifice the range for last word

Yeah, but that’s on paper, with the best situation. With easy of use, flinch, aim assist, last word will easily gun down a 120 at close range. Besides, with the ttk you are using for 120s, that’s with a damage boost. Without it, they will easily lose, especially if they hit a body shot or miss

Warlock rifts, Titans inertia override slides, hunters not having a single way to passively obtain a damage buff All that can start you off with 2 taps, and one stack of rampage can keep it going after the fact. 120's are stronk because they can chain an ass whoopin'

Yes, but that’s only if they do something before. And for emporium rift, it’s only if they stay still, which most people won’t. Also, inertia override requires a kill so you can pick up ammo. Yes, those can be easily done, but that’s if you hit headshots. Last word is already strong. Just like other weapons, it could be broken with the right mod attached. That’s why they shouldn’t have the capability
