Since this issue really only prevents people from actually playing the game,..and doesn’t affect anything that Bungie actually cares about,...
...it’s on their list of things to do.

Yes, because having the game not work is really going to boost those Eververse sales. When will people realise it is counter productive to Bungie for people to stop playing the game? Around the same time they realise that making money is the only way to keep it going and produce more content I guess. You know, like most businesses. Before anyone chimes in with 'but sunsetting' or whatever, I can guarantee you despite their borked delivery on occasion, Bungie have never set out to kill off the player base. Because that would literally make no sense.
