120 RPM hand cannons should not be able to have scout rifle range AND have refrigerator-sized bullets. They can have one or the other and still be balanced but having both is just pure cancer.

The problem with them is that bungie gave them the COD smg treatment. They made all other weapon types function somewhere close to what they are supposed to be in the destiny universe while they made HCs (something that is supposed to be a secondary weapon) on par or better with all rifle classes. You will never be able to balance them properly because they aren't HCs in function, only in looks. They are some cross breed of a scout rifle and a sidearm.

8 답변Easy, base their aim assist around 50, take 5 meters off the range, and nerf body shot damage so you can never 2 body 1 head.

3 답변Bigger maps with more variety. Too many smaller maps built around HC ranges makes them seem OP when they aren’t that bad. How maps are now make them seem better than they are. (Imo) Of course damage increasing builds don’t help when you can get 120s to almost if not 1 tap. Plus teamshooting with 120s kills well. Must prefer the feel of Palindrome myself so I’d use that. Would like some new 180 kinetics is for my dual handcannon build. Swapping from EV to a 120 is bleh compared to a 180 or 150 even. But that’s my meme fun build 😂. EV for a 165 headshot, hot swap with Lucky Pants and just body them quickly or headshot, hotswap back, repeat. Actually fun on bottom tree gunslinger. Win a lot, not really but fun in control.

15 답변Ran trials last night and got a God Rolled Igneous Hammer. This was my first time using a 120 handcannon since they got buffed. Gotta admit, this thing is so friggin good. Way too good. The range is wayyyyy to high. I was genuinely confused when I was hitting for full damage when on the other side of endless vale. Who thought that ranged was balanced? And I know the same applies for almost every other high impact because I'm always on the receiving end. The range at the very least needs to be addressed Anyway, I'll be running this for iron banner since you have to sweat in that playlist just like trials. But after that, back to my off meta loadout. I hate using things this good. Feels unfair to me.

1 답변Just give them more recoil, so the trigger can’t be spammed...while we are it give all spam cannons more recoil..only a hand full will remember the green hand cannon we got in D-1 around level 5-8 that had 3 bullets and took 5 minutes to reload..that’s what handcannons should be like.

I feel they need to take a whole lot more flinch the closer they take damage from someone. For a weapon designed for long range, its way too lethal at close ranges too. I see no point in 120’s as an archetype honestly, if players want to shoot far and 3 tap then why not just use a scout rifle? 120’s have an insane amount of aim assist and range that even pulse rifles cant compete.

24 답변I don't understand. What is with the scrub mentality. High risk, high reward. A 120 is an aggressive hand cannon. It's whole goal is to be able to shoot far. Which means riding its archetype it should be able to compete with pulses, and high rate of fire scout rifles. I've been running Messenger for the last few games I play today. And I have no trouble fighting 120 handcannons at all. Realistically the only time that it might be a challenge is if they are using cover better than me. And that then becomes my fault. Or, they're shooting from wild ankles and get the first shot off me. Otherwise, I can confidently outdo them. What I don't understand is why people suddenly think that they are broken, but can't inwardly look at their own lack of skill. This is not like the auto meta were literally anybody could shoot spray and putting it kill. You actually have to land your shots and if you miss one you are dead. The time to kill is one second. The time to kill of all body shots from a 340 is 1.2 seconds. If any tweak, it might be reduced the effect of rangefinder on a 120, or lowered a range by maybe one or two meters. That's it. If that. People say that they are easy to use, but let me ask exactly how many of the people on here who jumped off the cliff and trials to get their igneous hammers learned very quickly that a 120 is not an automatic I win button this past weekend? It's good. You can hold your own in a duel. But more than one catch you and you screw up one shot you are done. Into those who are asking for massive nerfs to range and aim assist, let me ask you are you asking for ace the meta? Because that is exactly what you will get. And then you will complain about an ace nerf because memento mori plus charged with light equals a two tap. And then you will complain about palindrome because it's too consistent. And then time worn spire because it's a literal bullet hose with a 0.8 TTK. It's less so about the 120s and more so that we need bigger maps. More bigger maps. And yet the last time Bungie put in a bigger map everybody was ups and arms about it. Which confused the hell out of me because I loved it. It just sounds like to me that there are a bunch of people on here that are butt hurt that they're getting killed by 120s and so they think nerfing them will make everything better. Guys it won't. Your lack of skill will show very quickly.

5 답변They don’t need a range nerf. Other weapons need a damage buff with a decrease in damage fall off to compete. 120’s are only good because every other weapon including other hand cannons with different archetypes have all been nerfed repeatedly. It’s time they focus on improving other guns to an even level. If they keep nerfing one or two weapons, all the other second choice weapons become meta.

I think the only thing that needs to be addressed is the damage boosting perks on the 120's. Hc are meant for 1v1 engagements. They are not meant for team wiping. Everything else does need a little help though. Especially the trash side arms and sub machine guns.

2 답변I used a bottom dollar for the first time in crucible today... I can confirm 120HC are broken but think of it this way. What else can they do? Nothing and its because the answer is nothing that is why they're good in the crucible 1v1 situations. I mean they wouldn't let any class/type of weapon be useless would they? erm...

Watching someone spam crits on a moving target at 47m with a 14 zoom sight has to one of the silliest mechanics I have ever seen in a video game.
