warlocks are by far the biggest crybabies on these forums. titans get pampered and hunters get blamed for everything.

I play Warlock the most and, although we get nerfed a lot, we are not unplayable. Stasis, Top Tree Dawn, and Chaos Reach have been and will stay good in PvP. I’ve always used Top Tree Dawn in PvE because of its speed, but Shadebinder has been really fun and good. Again, we’ve been nerfed and our Stasis class is the worst out of the three in PvP, but we are not unplayable and Shadebinder is probably the best Stasis class for PvE simply because of how easy it is to freeze stuff and the fact that the super is a ranged freezing ability.

as long as Icarus Dash still remains, I couldn't care less about the strife a warlock goes through. Not until its either removed, or Twilight Garrison is added

I mean, I'm a warlock main myself and I agree that we are the class that get hit by the nerf hammer the hardest. But it's not like we are the only one with crap supers. Nova warp got stomped into the ground, but burning maul for titans were bad from the beginning and nobody is talking about that. Dawnblade and stormcaller are so good in pvp compared to titans and hunters light subclasses. As a warlock myself I get where the frustration is coming from, [b]but we are by no means[/b], bad at all.

Shadebinder is actually pretty good the melee is top tier and the super is great at shutting other supers down. Nova Warp is also pretty good, but that’s because I personally play much better with blink and most Warlocks seem to hate blink for some reason. (Not trying to be offensive to Warlocks in this next part, but I’m not gonna sugarcoat things either) [b]IMO[/b], a lot of Warlocks on the forum seem to have this thought process of “If it’s not top tier, but it’s bad” or “if it’s been nerfed it’s complete shit”. Obviously there are people like this in all classes but it has become rather significant for Warlocks for quite sometime now (Also this not to be confused with the people simply asking for a buff. That’s completely fine to do). Something can be good without being King of the Meta. Example: Gunslinger isn’t exactly top tier atm. That doesn’t make it bad, In fact I would say that it’s really good if used correctly. It fine to be upset about a nerf when it initially happens, but it’s also important to move past them. Think about it like this. Warlocks spent so long talking about how everything they have sucks and yet only recently did most of them discover exactly how powerful Chaos reach can be (despite it being this way since it came out). What I’m trying to say is, try out some of those “bad” subclass but actually try to learn how best to play them. You’d be surprised at how good some of them are. Granted some will genuinely be bad, but not all of them. [spoiler]Also a lot of the points made in this video are clearly biased. For example: Sunsinger wasn’t in D2 because sunsinger was a problem in things like Trials in D1. You literally as to either A have all 3 orbs in one spot and be head to kill them immediately or if they weren’t together you would have to have a player constantly stay by that orb making getting the puck almost pointless since you’d essentially lose a player to keep an eye on the Sunsinger themselves. He tries to call out the Golden gun plays as problematic but doesn’t consider how rare it is to have all 3 orbs in the same spot so that they could each be shot down. Golden back then lasted 12s, so if they died in different areas (or just revived at the sane time instead of one at a time) that would have played out very differently. [/spoiler]

Warlocks: HuNtErS sToP aSkInG fOr NeRfs waaahhh. Hunters: we literally experienced nerfs to subclasses that ruined them in d1 so you need to stop with the victim mentality. We have all had major nerfs that were uncalled for... We have all experienced a time where a class seemed to be the main focus. In d1 warlocks reigned in PvE as they broke the machanics so much, they had to design a wipe mechanic to stop that. Listen I agree with warlocks that chaos reach shouldn't be neutered. However warlocks tend to have this ego issue and think everyone is out to get them. We aren't. As I said above, tend to. Not all warlocks have the issue, some are decent people and some are good people. I experienced these uncalled for nerfs in d1 with thether and golden gun AND d2 with tether again and golden gun again. They nerfed the exotics for those as well as its the case for warlocks. Its happened to every class, its not just you and yes it sucks. And please don't bring up the "well the majority of people play Hunters, therefore bungie favours them" The truth is actually not that far off, they hate everyone. Doesn't matter the class, they spin the dartboard, put on a blindfold and throw to see what gets the nerf.

They don't care because most players play Hunter and its easier to pander to the majority and make them feel powerful with broken kits than to make Warlocks powerful for too long and make them feel like they need to switch characters. Also, there seems to be a disinterest in Warlocks by the studio. This is evident by the declining quality in Armor designs, uninspired stasis super, and the fact that Warlocks don't even have a Stasis exotic. Imagine that. Creating a new element and not giving them an exotic to take advantage of it, and then, they give us a redundant Stasis turret and no shatter ability 2 seasons later 🤣 All of this can only mean disinterest and bias against the class.

And let's not forget about the time a certain warlock exotic helmet got completely nerfed BEFORE EVEN BEING RELEASED because hunters and titans cried that it was just gonna be too good to use. But as for the other classes, Bungie needs some time to collect data and see how things plays out to determine if things might maybe need a little adjustment. lol

Yep, agreed. It is obnoxious how in raids you are supposed to be doing onr thing and nothing else. How you are forced ro choose one subclass to do any meaningful pvp and how the changes and nerfs happen to warlocks instantly while hunters and titans are left alone for months. We are not being ignored, we are being hated by Bungie. Or, the team who is responsible for Warlocks don't really play the game. Nowadays my warlock routine is as follows: - I play pvp with top tree dawnblade, chaos reach was fun but everything else falls behind. - raids is well and lunafaction boots. -pve, stasis but never ever use its super because it is so underpowered for everything and it's just waste of time. Sometimes I even venture to the unknown and use bottom tree solar with the ugly exotic helmet that buffs the super to do something... And after the easy weeklies, I usually play other games. The constant nerfs and bias towards the class I have played since d2 launch have made the game lose most of its interest. Even my clanmates suggest that I should switch classes since warlocks are so bad. Thanks Bungie, for nerfing us.

I like how my ‘Lock plays even though I’m more of a Titan/Hunter person, but dear god do I hate the jump. With Titans, Lift has way better thrust to it, regardless if you go for strafe or high, but with Warlocks you kinda just slowly hang in the air with Glide. The fact that Bungie has to spec Top Tree Dawnblade just to give a ‘Lock better jumping capabilities says a lot.

I'd say you can blame pvp for most of the nerfs. Bottom tree Dawn, nova warp etc all nerfed because of pvp.
