Lore Help
Hi all
im looking at trying to get myself into the lore a little bit more, i know a little but i want to know more, so i have a quick few questions to ask,
is there a order to what i should read?
lore books, item descriptions
(Ghosts, weapons, ships, sparrows)
if there is no actual order is there a preferred order? one the community has put together maybe?
or maybe grouped together...this this and this is all to do with the cabal....that and this is all about the last city and this is just about savathun...
i juat need a rough idea of where i should have started and what i should be looking at now....
(Including D1)

Look up MyNameIsByf on YouTube. He has not only done what you ask but presents the lore in a very concise way usually linking things appropriately. His discord is really good too. I'd recommend starting with his history of Destiny video (it's about 4 hours long) You can also check out Ishtar Collective for comprehensive lore card listings. Most importantly, start with something you're interested in and go from there as you'll take in more that way.

1 답변If you want to go chronologically their is a sort of order but the books of sorrow are usually the go to lore pieces for most! However all of the beyond light books have been fantastic so far

He has others vids after that to catch you up to current events. He has other smaller videos covering other lore such as the thorn and last word kinda stuff.

I mean the first thing you should read are the "Books of Sorrow"(you might be a bit confused but it's basically an essential part of the lore). After that you can pretty much read whichever part of the lore you want. Want to read about The fallen? About calus? The Vex? Planets? The Darkness(at least what we know so far)? About Raids? The Last City? Major characters(Osiris, Saint 14, Zavala, Cyade, Ciatl, Uldren etc). My favorite lore comes from events that happen in the game Presage for example and the huge amount of lore that it has given us so far. Other lore that I really like are the stories about alternate realities, season of opulence were our guardian became a shadow for calus for example. Or in season of dawn where we found our grave.
