Battlegrounds - 1295 Umbral Engram gave me a 1288 Sniper Rifle?
After I've completed a Battleground I got a 1295 Umbral Engram. When I went to decode it, it gave me a 1288 Sniper Rifle.
Is this a bug or something?

Did you just decrypt it, or did you focus it? If you focused it, it will typically drop at a lower number (which is really stupid). To hold the number, just decrypt it without focusing it. I haven’t been able to figure out a good reason for this. I think it’s just another way Bungie is keeping us from using focusing as a tool to level up faster. Basically, I haven’t found a good reason to use the refracter at all, especially after you hit the 1300 level. The Battlegrounds do not give pinnacle rewards, which is also stupid to me.
