I HATE Timer in Missions... I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION...
This solves Nothing... only adds layer on layer on layer of Frustration... Sure make the Mission even Harder... its not enough that the healthpool of the 2 Monstrositys are Raidboss ammounts of High... no you just put the Worst Cancer Modifier in, a Soloplayer can have... I DON'T WANT TO USE THE FITTING ELEMENT TO DESTROY A DUMB SHIELD... great... those Scorn Captains Barade you with Deadly Explosives cuz why not and give em all Elements for Shields... why not only Void.. no it needs to be more infuriating... the First Encounter is easly Doable... but the Second part caused so many deaths so many out of Ammo moments and Ruined my Run... i had over 13 minutes by starting the S**T Survive part... i finished it with 2 Minutes left... do you playtest this... i'm 1311... 9 power below the Req... and this Mission turned thanks to the Timer in one of the Worst Missions Thanks Bungie i love you too... Remove the Timer... everyone is happy... i don't Care that the Cata is in the Master Difficulty but the Timer Takes the Fun away... another Fun mission downgraded to a Rush Through Garbage Mission... I WANT TO TAKE MY TIME AND PLAN MY STEPS... no one can do this if the Enemies have 4 times the Health and get Rainbow Shields
i have seen many things but i can say i had never Fun playing a Mission with a Timer in it... whoever thought this is Nice and tought people like it should be Kicked out of the Team...

7 답변작성자: SteveOfSteves 2/25/2021 9:36:30 PMA 25-minute timer isn’t even unreasonable. The mission is easy. If you can’t finish Presage in under 25 minutes, you’re just bad. Use Presage normal to familiarize yourself with the paths and encounters before jumping into Presage Heroic.

You're God damn right, you're bout to fight... A Darkness Guardian. Awwwwwww... BUNGO why!!! Why just a dang timer... You're killing my hype >_<

Plain and simple, it's to punish players who don't play with friends who are very dedicated or main this game. Has that not been the theme of destiny all along? They even had to rub it in your face by denying us a season pass exotic, and we can be stuck with the junior version and it's Joegoroth High School.

5 답변Honestly Im on the fence about this. I think a timer is a pretty annoying way to add difficulty, I personally have no problem with it but I can see how someone slower or more casual would have a hard time. Two things though. 1) the activity is 1320 if im not mistaken which currently pretty much no one is at, so almost everyone is underlevelled. By the end of the season though, most people will probably be at or beyond this level so you wont have to deal with the timer on top of being underlevelled. You'll still have to go somewhat fast but it wont be as difficult. Just keep in mind you have the whole season AND THE REST OF THE YEAR to do this. 2) People don't like hearing this but I feel like there is a sort of entitlement within the casual part of destiny that they must be capable of doing everything in the game. Unfortunately destiny has a wide audience to please, and if an optional difficulty bump on a mission is too hard then you do not have to do it. Or it should be something you can aspire to complete in the long run, like I said you have the whole year to do it. Just because you can't beat an activity the day it comes out doesn't necessarily mean it is too hard or hard for the wrong reasons. Give yourself some time to get better gear etc, the mission will still be there. If the hard mode version of the mission was smoked by the whole playerbase on the first day then why even call it a hard mode? If you can't do it right now it's something to work towards.

Timers have always been part of the game. Instead aiming for your weekly 100k pinnacle gear this time you're aiming for it for a catalyst that just gives a little bit extra stats. In regards there has been harder means to obtain catalysts in the past like raids on the hardest difficulty.

A timer is just lazy work and that is all Bungie seems to be about these days. It's just like their dumb champions and stomped mechanics that they have been spamming through the entire game. Edit: Seriously, it's like them creating a new weapon like the bow. Great, you created a new weapon, Thank you, but that doesn't mean we asked you to create a 100 different types, or swards. How about being actual devs that have the motivation, inspiration, incentive to create new types of weapons without spamming them. WoW! what a concept...

If it was just a standard difficulty level that gave a decent level of challenge I don't think it'd be as much of a problem. Timers add a requirement of you performing well, and knowing what to do. Power level just slaps you with it's dick and says "Didn't get that correct drop? Either wait another week or GET -blam!-ED BOYO!"

3 답변작성자: 123TheCloop 2/24/2021 8:17:41 PMwow so many people are clueless on OPs take, almost everyone ive seen "say the timer is fine" has done this in 2 or 3 man teams..... just like Zero Hour and Whisper, these were borderline cancer doing solo "because of the timer", and before people complain, I completed Harbinger solo in under 15 minutes I have the triumph for it. and yet see people "say Harbinger was more difficult" lol not even close. why? because one has a timer while the other doesnt. Timers should not be a method for "making content harder" harbinger mission is a testament to that, interesting mechanics in fight rooms that change weekly etc. this mission is not only over level'd for a "catalyst" that I bet will get nerfed anyways especially on warlocks with heat rises :D it also has no new additions to its "game play" apart from needing to run "all 3 singe types" I also really hope the "champ:mob" modifier is actually not meant to be there because if this actually "spawned" champs then this not only proves how shit bungie are in creating "meaningful" harder content, but it proves how little they care about "all" players by forcing everyone to potentially run a fixed loadout, its already cancer needing all 3 singe types and having two stupidly tanky abominations, yh sorry but this is far from the quality that Harbinger brought in its uniqueness and freshness with rotating mechanics. solo players exist, and timers are literally stupid for the solo audience, im fine with a triump being awarded "for completing a timed" version but at least let solo players enjoy the content in its harder form (well if it actually had something new to offer) without having to race through the damn thing and be forced into some brainless running around.

23 답변Personally I didn't mind the timer. It gave a sense of risk and having to rush. If the champions had spawned in then I might think differently as I'd rather have no timer but lot of champions or timer with none. Now if they had added something like flashing red lights and that a self destruct was turned on then I'd have welcomed that as well.

2 답변I’m a solo player and I just did it Lfg. Only took two tries. Also, I’m fine with timer because the normal version is still playable if you don’t want the timer. He harder difficulty just gives the catalyst.

This whole game is one giant timed mission. Just ask any of the content that we used to play. It’s all on a timer, and that is only due to the fact that bungie would rather manipulate your into playing out of anxiety rather than actual fun.
