Perdition, the 1300 Legendary Lost Sector is every wrong with the current approach to end game “challenge”. Ginned up by making the player incredibly weak.
Though I went in solo at 1288, that is well with the delta that you use for contest modifier content. Each run literally ran into a wall created by the Overload Champions. In each case, in addition doing such damage that I was getting two-tapped by them. In addition to them being able to teleport halfway across the map. In addition, to them spamming their weapons continuously?
[b]They were healing faster than I could damage them with both a sword...and my super (Stormtrance). [/b] Despite have the proper mods equipped and meta weapons!!
It took THREE rockets to bring down ONE of the. Three direct hits with cluster bomb equipped rockets!
Whose idea of “fun” is this??
Whose idea of “fun” is reducing the player to hacking away at an enemy with a sword, and seeing his health bar [i]go up![/i]
Whose idea of “fun” is deploying what is supposed to be one of the most powerful attacks in the game, and watch an enemy not only shrug it off... but actually HEAL ITSELF WHILE UNDER ATTACK BY IT?!?!

작성자: The-IIID-Emp1r3 2/19/2021 9:57:57 PMWeird, i thought you were fine with champions being in the game and told people who complained about overloads to "use the weapon + mod right" Fun to read this, now you understand how frustrating these dudes are on very higher difficulties when bungie puts all kinds of modifiers and scales difficulty waayyy up on enemies that don't have a red icon (not even yellow) next to em yet kill ya faster than you can blink, wish bungie would tone down the difficulty of these LS when solo but keep them as they are when in a team If legendary is hard i don't even wanna know if master LS is even possible, i doubt anyone at bungie playtested that Edit: also i noticed half the time on these extreme emulated difficulties overloads get stunned, sound plays, text says stunned but they either keep moving around...or heal like you've said, bungie needs to rework these mods to be always active like antibarrier AND remove the absurdly useless timer on champions before being allowed to be stunned again, if i shoot an overload continuously with an overload weapon he SHOULD stay stunned or at most debuffed by the darn weapon mods function w/ a timer on left screen too (would be helpful)

If you can’t handle being a little under level and champions I think it’s best you never try. I’d hate to see the wall of words we’d see then. Champions are fine and bungie has given you more than enough tools to deal with them. Tens of thousands solo this activity under light level and I don’t see their posts complaining. If you can’t handle champions don’t do the content with them. Edit: this is targeted at Wickedearth Edit: after further review neither have you. Best you stick to patrols man, simple end game content isn’t for you.

3 답변I personally don't have an issue with champions, they're not difficult, not challenging, they're just [b][u] boring[/u][/b] I got all 3 exotics so at least I don't have to bother with the lost sectors anymore

1 답변My issue is the other two types have a stunlock duration, overloads dont. It has been broken forever. The closer the proximity to them the faster they "wake up." Id suggest using the exotic void bow, Le monarch or whatever the hell its called. Its just ridiculous to see "stunned overload champion" 25 times on your screen within 5 seconds.

7 답변Bungie HAD to make overloads strong - otherwise it would have destroyed the game, we were getting way to strong and had to be reigned back in. When bungie made the promise of power I said from the start they would not be able to keep it - and they tried and failed for 6 years doing so. This is bungie saying they're still invested in the series - and arent going to allow it to self destruct. There, that's your argument regarding sunsetting - and just like your argument it clarifies nothing and is so vague people cant target it with counterarguments that would destroy any pro-sunset point you could have.

They are 100% obnoxious and force you to use a bow, just like how last season we couldn’t use an auto rifle. Yea, we can do it, and know what to do, doesn’t make it fun. People make me laugh how they act like it’s not a nuisance. I unloaded a full mag to the face of an overload captain....nothing. No stun. Next mag about 5 shots in got the stun, It seems very inconsistent as to a bow. So once again, restricts your loadout Bc SMG and Auto Overload mods have been crapola and are not worth using.

The only consistent way I've found to stun overload Champions is either the grenade mod from the artifact or using a bow/scout/HC if they have a champion mod. Using autos or smgs to stun them is a waste of time. Oddly enough Divinity darn near instantly stuns these guys the moment they get tagged. Now you being 1288 in a 1300 activity may have contributed to using 3 rockets to down them, as I was 1304 when I ran it with my Hunter (whose arc grenades suck ass for stunning Champions) and I was able to consistently drop them with my cluster rocket in 2 shots. Although that lost sector does have a burn (I think it's void) so that may have been a better option. That aside, yes. Overload Champions are a pain in the ass, especially those stupid Captains. Doing Sepkis Prime last week when you are outside with the spider tank and you got like 3 of these doofus teleporting around at light speed while rapid firing their shotgun is absolutely bonkers.

4 답변These comments just aren’t it. Regardless of who Kelly may be to you he has a point. Overload Champions need to be looked at. While we’re at it, the Champion Mod system needs to be looked at. I’m seeing comments down below saying “You [b]have[/b] to use this” or “Use this to stun them.” Maybe I don’t want to use a Arc or Stasis Grenade to stun them because it’s not part of my build? This whole Champion system is controlling and honestly a huge turn off for me. I play Battlegrounds because it’s fun, but my whole build right now on my Titan is using Auto Rifles and Machine Guns with Breaking Maul because that super is fun to use. However, none of the mods on the Artifact work with that build so I just say -blam!- it.

3 답변You have to understand how overload mechanics work firstly, your best bet was to use le monarch, and the poison also counts as ticks for overload; Once staggered you can do as much damage as you like, once it isn't staggered switch back to bow and spam shots, it cannot heal when you constantly do overload damage to it, even if it isn't stunned, and it'll eventually go back to stunned where you can switch to damage again.

4 답변Lol champions aren’t broken. When you initially shoot an overload or stumbles and by time it recovers it should stagger if you land your hits. Hit it with some heavy or special and you’re good to go.

You obviously dont like the game bungie have made. Its all about builds and mods now. You obviously dont raid, so you dont have easy stun weapons like divinity. Raids are pointless according to you. Champions are here to stay, if you dont like it, quit moaning and maybe go play something else. Champions work, you dont. Its not bungies mechanics at fault, its you. See how this works? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

So after getting some pwlvl, mind you I started the season like 4 days ago I decided to give it a try. 1285~ pwlvl (with artifact). Banner sniper, trinity ghoul, a random legendary rocket launcher. It was the Europa vex lost sector(idk the name) with the minotaur boss. Rocket to the overload face switched to bow stagger it throw one melee(iam a filthy hunter) that reloaded my rocket, i shoot with the rocket again. If it survived then I just used finisher. I had more problems with the -blam!-ing Wyverns 😂. I put two rocket ammo finder, scavenger and reserve mod. My first 5 try was a disaster but after that I managed to finish it every time in 10 min.
