Anyone else disappointed with the Nintendo direct?
[i]I kinda was. No real games got me excited, Pyra for smash was a little bit of a disappointment for me personally, and they just straight up said "no botw news" but I understand the game will take a while to make. But nothing got me excited. Some things looked interesting like Mario golf, new animal crossing mario items, and splatoon 3.
But overall I wasn't too enthusiastic, but thats just me. What about you guys?[/i]

1 답변Can't say I was disappointed. Splatoon 3, Skyward Sword HD, No More Heroes 3, Neon White, new Mario Golf and Ninja Gaiden Master Collection all looked good. Sure, I would've loved a big bombshell announcement like a new F-Zero or Metroid 4 news, but this was FAR from a bad presentation overall.

9 답변Garbage. Nintendo are so behind now. Imagine organising a whole event to get people hype and then using it to announce Hades and Apex are coming to Switch. Everything else just looked like a mobile game.

•A bunch of stuff I personally don't care much for. Looked good, just not my kind of things. •Not the Zelda announcement I was hoping for. Skyward Sword is good, but it's not my favorite. •Big tiddy anime grils that a lot of Smash fans wanted are added. Hooray. •Absolutely zero Metroid. As usual. Yep, Nintendo Directs, and disappointment, are back.

11 답변Having actually watched it now, I thought it was a great Direct. I really hate Pyra’s design, but from a gameplay standpoint she looks to be similar to when Sheik/Zelda were one character, which as a Zelda main I’ve really missed. Outer Wilds is a game I’ve wanted for a long time, so I’m glad I finally have a chance to play it! Neon White looks like it could be really good. I hope it comes out with a demo, because it’s definitely something I want to try. World’s End Club looked interesting. I’ll need to see some more actual gameplay first, but I’ll be keeping an eye on that for sure. Then of course, Skyward Sword HD? With optional button controls? Awesome! I hope they let you customize what does & doesn’t use motion controls, because I really like some of them, but hate others. And I love Splatoon, so the Splatoon 3 announcement was [i]awesome[/i]. I really hope they have more realistic levels this time around, rather than a bunch of floating blocks. There were a few in the Octo Expansion, and they were the best!

16 답변작성자: The First Aifos 2/17/2021 11:50:50 PMHaven’t watched it yet, but I heard they’re remaking Skyward Sword, and a new Splatoon is on the way. That’s all I need to consider it a good Direct! Edit; just watched the Splatoon trailer. That alone makes the Direct not a disappointment!
