Hello, Before I dive into this, let me preface the post with a few things. 1) Ive been playing Destiny across both its iterations for 8 years. I love this game. PvP is my endgame. I do not raid and spend the bulk of my time in the Crucible and Gambit playlists. 2) I am in the armed forces and only have access to my personal wireless internet for gaming. I do my best to service my modem so it works at peak efficiency, but I cannot control how well my connection sends and receives packets. 3) I have been working extra hard to get my gambit rank up since the new season dropped as I very much want access to the seasonal rewards offered and have many quests in that particular playlist. All that said, I woke up this morning to a surprise 2 week restriction to all competitive playlists because apparently my internet connection occasionally lags. I find this extreme and highly ridiculous and am desperately hoping for some help from Bungie in this regard. This will directly affect my ability to progress through seasonal rewards and keep up with certain weekly seasonal challenges. In all the 8 years or so ive been playing this game, I've never once been banned or restricted in this way, and would consider myself a player in good standing who spends a good chunk of cash in the eververse store to support the game I love. Please help. I know these are based around automated systems but this will directly affect my gameplay experience, and being punished for having an internet connection that I cannot control the quality of seems incredibly draconian. Hoping this reaches someone who can actually aid me. Pretty bummed right now.
