Crucible modes without STASIS
To wrap it up...
I hate stasis in PvP... I loved Crucible even it wasn't my main source of entertainment in D2.
Since Beyond Light... PvP is unplayable for me. I know lot of people have lot of fun freezing people... I hate it! It almost disgusting...
I personaly don't use stasis in PvP because I know how broken this thing is. So broken I was considering never playing Crucible again... No, not even those three (actually nine) matches every week nor IB...
And there are lot of people like me... and I really hope Bungie will do something with it. I don't neccessary want from them to remove stasis from PvP completely (even I wouldn't be agaist), I just want change!
- first option is separate balancing for stasis for PvE and PvP and make it much weaker.
- second option, which I would appreciate more, is MAKE SEPARATE MODES... same type as "freelance" but you would be able use only LIGHT. Simple as that, noone would be furious, everyone would have fun... problem sovled...

How about this, when your done crutching on your shotguns and fusions, then we might consider you in the room to even just listen about changes. Also, you don't even have enough hours/kills in pvp to even be talking about pvp. Come back when you've hit 100k with non meta guns.

1 답변Stasis is terrible, across the board! It is terrible to be frozen in pvp. It is terrible to have an over-tuned super that is so asymmetric to other supers. It feels terrible to be told narratively that the Light isn’t enough so let’s go dark. Destiny 2 is worse off w/ stasis & sun setting.

1 답변TBH there shouldn't be stasis in IB. Lord saladin is even mad at us for using stasis and gives some text to express his feelings the first time you talk to him after doing some beyond light stuff. It would make sense that he would ban the use of darkness powers

1 답변Bungie will do nothing to Stasis. I started to play IB on Tuesday then put it down. I always play IB but then again I’m more about gun play and that is not what PVP is right now. This game is not fun. With no content in the game and a god awful PVP experience there is very little reason to play. I saw on steam that Destiny had the lowest player average over the last month. This was the lowest in well over a year and it is not surprising.

You're wasting your breath, seriously, look at the reaction to sun setting, Bungie hasn't addressed it once recently, PvP is a sorry mess and it's the same thing, nothing of worth is being said or done. But it's ok, we're getting more reissued weapons next season. There are two gigantic elephants in the room, one has SUN SETTING tattooed on it's arse the other has PVP & STASIS on its arse, Bungie are happily ignoring both and just driving through it, it's f*cking embarrassing and a teeny bit annoying. Walking away is the only option, they will not change, they are probably too busy with the Netease commitment and struggling to juggle everything and Destiny is suffering because of it, they have become lazy and uninspired, that's a hard mindset to get rid of once it takes hold.

5 답변Ugly truth for many is your not a positive KD which will go from one thing to another. Bad experience in the crucible as you’d be getting stomped by better players which leads to frustration which further leads to hating and putting of posts of “remove this, Nerf that”. Although to an extent I agree some parts of stasis was/are poorly designed (shatterdive/Titan damage resistance in super). Better yourselves/LFG in the crucible to build confidence then you will be fine. But don’t ask for stuff like this/Nerfs/Removes when you have very little experience in the crucible compared to many people here. If you was on Xbox I’d play some crucible with you!

They need to tune stasis. They're not going to get rid of it from PvP. It's the only thing that makes the game different from other shooters on the market. So many little things they could do. Freezing only lasts 1 second. The shatterdive thing? Maybe make it so the crystals only break if you are jumping from a maximum height, or make it so it takes 2-3 slams to break. The ice globe grenade, whatever the hell its called, make it act like the Titan concussive grenade instead, or maybe slow, but not freeze or cause you to get sucked in. Small tweaks. I imagine they have to be working on it. I don't play PvP, I don't enjoy it one bit. However, I do understand that many people love it, and they have been getting the short end of stick when it comes to tuning, making it unplayable.

I love stasis, its alot of fun. That being said I think a good medium is just remove the freezing solid in PvP specifically, but keep stasis. Leave PvE alone though. Stasis is 100% a crutch. If you need to freeze people to kill them, you're wrong😂. Supers are also way too easy to get in Crucible, they need to be dialed back. 1 super per person per match is good enough.

1 답변I’d like to see a crucible game mode where it’s just the gun play, no supers or abilities. But then again that would be the old Halo games.

I'm still waiting for a season (since D1) in which shotguns are low tier How could you enjoy Pvp before stasis when things like Fellwinter exist? My point is freezing will most likely stay in the game as it is. Maybe they tweak it but they won't bn it. Only way out of this would be an option where people vote a map and ban specific things (classes, abilities, weapon types,..) like modificators for pve but in pvp
