5 답변The players aren't always right. Neither is the data. They need to understand that there is merit to both, and in some cases neither show the real situation, and they should just make the judgement based on what they find through testing.

작성자: Jibunnokage 2/2/2021 6:05:30 AMTheir data is what they use, because it proves what they want to believe. They make the facts fit the perception. Not let the facts create the perception. Thus, they always 'see' what they want as a result. Never mind less than 10% of the players do any end-game content. Less than 1% consistently do end-game content frequently. Why YouTubers are leaving, etc., etc., etc. Even Mr. Fruit... a D1 fan forward, just stated he was done with D2 for the foreseeable future. He was one of first Bungie recognized fanboyz ever.

작성자: Olórin 2/1/2021 2:08:19 PMUnfortunately mate, the current Bungie is only interested in their financial gains from this game; a players feedback doesn't give them anything to be moved by. The data however, shows them how much money their hamster wheel is generating, if it wasn't generating enough money then you'd be sure to see a difference in their approach... For good or for worse is down to your opinion. If the general playerbase really were this distraught and wish for Bungie to change their current approach towards this game and your time, then you should really start learning their language in order to reflect your feedback. Which is to stop funding developers that you feel dont value the time of the playerbase.
side note: I'm not saying this as a general outlook for all players to stop funding them, strictly the players that claim they are not heard but still decide to fund someone that they deem to devalue their time and efforts. If you like Bungie's current approach then thats fine, everyone is entitled to support companies they feel are worth their investment of time and money.
Or just play something else, personally i haven't really found much interest to go on Destiny lately unless there's something to do, which there isn't really much right now until Iron Banner arrives. It's the only game mode i like these days thanks to Freelance.
This is all just my opinion though.
Playerbase: "Cheating is rampant on PC, do something!!" Bungie: "Understood. Enabling crossplay." All jokes aside, they better not pull a CoD and force you to enable crossplay to play certain modes. Better yet, don't introduce crossplay.

7 답변Can you imagine Bungie running a restaurant? "Numbers show that all our customers are buying the pasta, and almost nobody gets the pizza" - We should make pasta portions smaller so people are more likely to get the pizza as well "Wait now we lost a large chunk of our customers that used to eat the pasta, they just stopped coming instead of getting pizza" - We should put out an ad that our restaurant is getting all the new dishes to lure in new customers "We got an increase of customers but they aren't too happy because we only included a portion of our new menu promises" - It's fine, we need to keep releasing portions of our new menu over time to keep customers coming "What do you mean they got fed up with undelivered promises and stopped coming all together?"

1 답변I'd settle for them just being honest... Bungie as a whole is so full of s, if they got an enema, they'd be see through.

5 답변작성자: CookieNiki 1/31/2021 4:38:07 PMBungie always overestimate its ability to deliver something their players will like, without truly listen to their community in advance. They also don't trust their community feedback because: "hey, we made Halo, we know better than anyone else." The word "hubris" fits perfectly in defining their behavior.

2 답변Only data bungie really looks at is the amount of money they make. Vote with your wallets.

9 답변As long as this game keeps making a -blam!- ton of money, Bungo sees no problem. These posts are worthless because so many players can't wait to buy silver. You want change? Stop throwing money at the screen.

1 답변One of Bungie’s biggest weaknesses is over-reliance on big data. Not only does it not have all the answers, AND hobble your ability to quickly react to problems, but sometimes it will flat out steer you wrong.

Dude, it's at the point after all these years that they have lied so much that I believe some of them actually belive their own lies. The false promises have gotten out of control and now we see the real reason most of the actual talented people that cared about the game left this company. What did they do before Activision left? Sign a $100 million contract with NetEase a mobile game company. That right there should tell you how much they want to even hear what the player base says. As long as their top streamers are feeding them new players or keeping their followers around, things will never change and the new light system made things a hell of a lot worse off for the player base.

From the last TWAB “Submachine Guns are largely outclassed by Auto Rifles at medium range, and by Sidearms at short range, with player feedback often mentioning how hard they are to control. To address this feedback, we’re introducing the following change: “ That sounds like they’re listening to player feedback. And this isn’t the only example to be found over the years of Destiny 2. Just because they don’t always act Immediately to your feedback or even implement changes you want doesn’t mean they don’t listen to player feedback. They pay attention to both feedback and data. Sometimes they need to use data, because in many cases certain weapon archetypes or subclass trees are not going to have people championing for them loudly enough. But when they see nobody is using something they have in the past made adjustments to bring them up to level with the current meta.

If they even listened to their data they'd have changed shit like shotguns in PvP a long while ago, added more PvP maps and strikes, not sunset everything at once, buff some weapons that badly need it, etc. They seem to be just doing whatever right now with no semblance of an actual plan.

5 답변작성자: TJ_Dot 2/1/2021 2:15:13 AMIt's less about the data, and more so what they're doing with it that's bad. Swords at 65% use? OK let's nerf them while completely ignoring how we basically enabled this to happen with 2 seasons of there being a popular sword and having a large number of heavies just being weak or sunset. Lament skewed this data so bad and the entire weapon class now got hit for it instead of just seeing what the rocket buff would do first.

7 답변My 2 cents. Talent shows by the results of a product. When people see talent, they admire it. That seems to be how this world works. Sometimes, you can't expect a lot of talent coming from small packages. You could only see a few coming from a bearded dwarf before it is exhausted. And most of it are plagiarisms. It shows in the game, right?...copycat, copy-paste, reissued, reskins, rehashed, and everything else in between. That's the capacity of a bearded dwarf. I mean would you imagine an old raid from D1 will return?... Who thinks like that? Fantasy Land baby!!! 😂😂😂

I'm a financial analyst, so I definitely bias towards listening to data. But, I think what we're seeing is Bungie bowing to a budget, not the data. Creating maps (both PvP and strikes) takes a ton of work, they've all but stopped making them. New weapon models take some time too, we're seeing one or two new sets and the rest is recycled. Triumphs, challenges, LL grind, and to an extent recycling old raids/strikes. Those are all cheap. This is all Bungie trying to give us content for little cost. Either they're bloated and top-heavy on management and staff and/or they're ancient engine just makes everything cost way more to make than it should; or, they're just paying the bills at the Bungie players' expense while they develop the new IPs. (their grand vision is a multi-content launch in 2025 from what I remember)
