Cross play? No. Cross console? Yes, yes, yes.
For the sanity of console players everywhere, please make cross-play optional, you’ve already a track record of poor implementation and I feel this will be no exception.
Whilst it wouldn’t be accurate to say the only people that want cross-play are PC players, it is still the the minority of the players that do, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the only reason Bungie are pushing it so hard is to boost the player numbers on PC, because they’re beginning to get dangerously low compared to console. (And of course, allows Bungie another corner to cut by no longer having to balance separately)
If anything, I’ve seen many more voices saying they want cross-console, (which I think would be great) and not cross play, and it’s hard to see what benefits PC adds to the mix.

4 답변Here have an upvote! Cheaters are never punished. Cross play with pc platforms will ruin crucible for console players. Aim bots, mouse and keyboard and god knows what else will destroy the holy sanctity of the console and controller crowd.

Yay!!!! No dedicated servers and pc versus console hell yeah brother!!! Let’s get errr done!!! Oh wait a min, I’m dead the entire match against this pc 6 stack while I’m on ps4. Well damn...

All they need to do is make it opt in for the cry babies. Cross play is gonna be very good for the game. Cheaters are everywhere. Bungie should just implement some sort of anti cheat and harsher punishment for cheating like a lawsuit. That way cheating is discouraged.

5 답변Honestly, as a PC player, I really want to play with my friends on console for PvE activities, because I'm tired of the amount of PvP sweats PC has, which makes it understandable why nobody would want to play against them I just want to be a chill player, and hang out with my friends, not over indulge in stressful PvP activities, even though I was looking forward to crimson days. I'm going off on a tangent, sorry, I just hope there will be a way for Console to flip off Cross play with PC for PvP.

3 답변Cross console is an even worse idea, you think its fair that 60fps and fov slider ps5 players get to face the 30fps ps4 players? The fps alone makes a massive difference in smoothness, aim assist and turning speed. Last gen players would get steamrolled so hard the game would uninstall itself.

I mean we already do crossplay to an extent, when you match with people using next gen consoles you only fight people with next gen, unless you have someone in your fireteam who has an older gen version of the game then crossplay settings take into effect and its a bag full of people who or who don't have the new consoles.
